So here's an update. The test is not that hard when it comes to questioning, the main focus is knowing the information itself. (I failed because I failed to memorize main key factors, i'll do better next times but these videos helped a lot and I would have failed much more I got a 637)

12 is interesting, if the cable is modular shouldn’t you first try replacing the cable? It would be much cheaper and easier to do as a first step than replacing the entire thing.

I agree, checking for bad connections and cable continuity is best practice. Literally a 5 minute job. All practice tests on KZfaq should be taken with a pinch of salt

grinding noise coming from a cable touching a fan? That not accurate. This should be a Hard Drive as the answer for question 8. I have never heard grinding sounds with cables touching fans.
