@@bentley230 It's so good, I highly recommend you get it. It has, in my opinion, Wintory's Magnum Opus, as well as some of the most epic traversal and presentation, not to mention the exploration. The world is chock full of secrets and you can fully expect to spend around 20 hours combing the map for its secrets. Oh and no spoilers, but the game is full of surprises :).

yeah, i'm totally into other games riffing on the concept, and the verticality of the foam seems like it's adding a novel dimension to the gameplay... but did they really have to go for such a similar visual style? that sort of neon punky raver vibe? obviously the characters are semi-realistically-proportioned humans as opposed to cartoon anthro cephalopods, but from behind i could legit mistake some of them for inklings.

@Yohoat You mean the art style? It looks pretty generic, but it's far from horrible.

@casual3123 compared to Splatoon I'd say it's pretty bad looking. Nothing pops, everything looks flat and lifeless. I can't even parse what's going on in heated moments due to the art style. And look at that team victory screen, it just looks ugly.

@Katzelle3 Ir allows for all sorts of strategies. You could make a wall to defend yourself or a high perch to get a good view of the action or use as a sniper to target players. It allows for a type of movement option that Splatoon doesn't have the ability to expand upon, and tbh, the lack of vertical movement, especially when retreating has been a very common complaint about recent Splatoon map design.

It is if you like PvP/Live service. There is no single player.

Hopefully it'll live up to the first one, because I'll be really disapointed if it's another mess like Security Breach. Help Wanted is genuinely one of the best VR games, and it seems that's Steel Wool's strength and not regular flatscreen games.

Which one do you prefer, The Talos Principle or The Witness?

@@atmatey Talos is lightyears above The Witness as far as I'm concerned. It has none of the frustration and pretentious bullshit. In fact, in some ways, I would say Talos is what The Witness thinks it is. Do you prefer The Witness?

@@MinorCirrus I don't really know which one I prefer, but it's interesting to compare the two. I actually don't think The Witness is pretentious at all and some areas like the treehouse and the mountain have insanely good puzzle design. The Witness has one single unique mechanic that the game tries to explore to its fullest, while The Talos Principle doesn't feel quite as original in that regard. Trying to find all the hidden shapes was very tedious though and I never tried to find all of them. The Talos Principle also has some really hard puzzles and I never fully completed all of them, though I would like to try again to solve everything. I really like the premise of TTP and many of its themes, but the writing style on the computer consoles was a bit annoying at times. Overall I like how both games feel similar but also very different to each other and complement each other in different ways.

@@atmatey Thanks for sharing your opinions on those. I truly hope one day you dive back into and complete everything on TTP. It is a truly special game for me, possibly top 5 ever.
