Diffusing essential oils is very simple way to purify the air around you. If you're using your diffuser a lot, you're gonna need to give it a quick clean (I recommend doing it weekly if you use it every day).
In this week's video I show you exactly how to clean your diffuser.

I pour hot soapy water in mine weekly then wipe out with a sponge, i never submerge the base, only the lids. Every month or so I run them for 5 minutes with water and vinegar in, then go around the plate inside with a cotton bud/q tip

Thanks, I thought my diffuser was broken because it wouldn’t diffuse. However once I cleaned it out it started to work again, I guess it was just clogged up

Thank you. I use lavender every night for my son's bedroom. Guessed and do 4 drops of it. Let it diffuse for six hours however can't smell it much. The water disappears once I check in the morning. I'm running out of lavender constantly? X

I use about 6 drops if I'm in a big room. If you run the diffuser a lot, you will use up your lavender :) I think the reason why you think you can't smell is it because your nose gets used to the scent quickly!

mine did stop working at one point i have the little black one that comes with oil and then every now and then ill buy more that i like i have not gotten myself to buy a bigger one but i usually just wipe it out with a viva papertowel cuz they r soft and absorbent and a qtip then i just give a little blow to the bottom

No you don't have to clean it each time. Just empty the water reservoir when you are changing scents. I recommend cleaning your diffuser like I showed in the video once a week

Cedrix Patiu- I use my diffuser like you do. I clean mine with vinegar like in this video about every week. Works just fine.

Can I use bleach to wipe it out? Like with a paper towel with bleach on it, and then wiping it with water to get the bleach out?

I don't think that's necessary. I would just use water and vinegar. Bleach is too strong and then would end up being diffused.

Yes you can :) The vinegar is what helps to break down the oil. So white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar

I used white vinegar but it did not remove any thing the oil still on the walls of the diffuser I don't know whether there is a different type of vinegar which cleans out that oil I love my diffuser its 800ml and I don't want to loose it is there anything to use apart from vinegar?

After you have diffused the white vinegar mixed with water in the diffuser, then tip the mixture out and wipe the diffuser clean with a dry cloth. That is the important part to help remove any remaining oil residue

Hi Lindsey, I washed the whole container in cold running water under the tap. When I dried it, and put in water & essential oil, it stopped working! May I know what actually happened?

Hey Lucky - you should only ever put water in the actual reservoir. The diffuser is electronic, so if you wash the whole thing under water then you could short it. If you watch my video closely, I only put water in the reservoir and don't drench the whole thing. Put your whole diffuser in rice and see if you can absorb some of the water that may be caught in the electronic part. If that doesn't work, you may have to buy a new diffuser :/

Lucky G ahhh bugger - try to put the whole thing in rice and let it absorb any water that may have gone in there.

That's no fun! Can you use something to wedge it open a little? Or maybe get in touch with the company themselves and let them know the issue - maybe it has a defect or there is a trick to it.

I might have meant to say q tips or I said cotton swabs. You use them to clean the hard to reach areas that a cloth can’t clean

You can do the same thing as in the video! Works on all diffusers - the vinegar helps breakdown the buildup and then you just need a cloth and some q tips for the hard to clean places

Do you put bleach to clean your diffuser? I got a humidifer as well and many say bleach is needed to kill viruses... Not sure if that would be ideal for me..

Can i know why water in my diffuser getting warm after 30min or 1 hour. Is that normal?

Check to make sure that the fan is not obstructed. Is the diffuser sitting on a towel or cloth? Remove it if so. Also check to make sure you aren’t overfilling the reservoir with water :)

You can wipe it out every time you use it but it’s not necessary. I recommend once a week.

I did exactly as you suggested but it’s still not diffusing any mist. The lights in it keeps changing but there is no mist. 😭😭 Help please!!

Clean the circle thing in the middle at the bottom where the water goes I used some rubbing alcohol and a ear wick to clean it out properly mines started to mist after a few mins

That particular plant is a succulent and is called an Echeveria-azulita. You can find it at any plant or succulent store :)

Yes, some essential oils can be toxic to pets. For cats, stay away from: Cinnamon oil, Citrus oil, Clove oil, Eucalyptus oil, Peppermint oil, Pine oils, Tea Tree oil, Wintergreen, Ylang Ylang For dogs, stay away from: Pine oil, Tea tree oil, Wintergreen oil, Cinnamon oil, Citrus oil, Peppermint oil, Ylang Ylang

I recommend adding a capful of vinegar mixed with water in your diffuser and then let it run for awhile. Then turn it off, unplug it, tip the water out and wipe it clean with a dry cloth!

Maybe put the whole thing in a bowl of rice to help dry out the parts that you ran under water. I recommend wiping your diffuser clean by using a dry or very slightly damp cloth - never submerse the whole thing underwater because of all the electronic parts.

I enjoy their essential oils and have found that they are much more potent than other oils I've used, so I decided to stick with that brand
