Okay, gunshots aside…😂. You can’t help that wild life. I really appreciate how you make this process seem approachable!! I’m still exploring protective styles and there’s a lot I saw my momma do but she never taught us because we were young when she was experimenting (was a cosmetologist) and passed before I could express interested (was SUCH a tomboy and low maintenance girl). Now that I’m focusing on myself and wanting to explore styles that are simple, keep my maintenance low, but come out natural, I’m seeking channels like yours! I’m glad I started here 🥰💕. Heyy, yes of course! I’ll make sure in future videos i show & name them. I used Nairobi Styling foam, Got 2 B Glue spray, got 2 b glue gel, bio silk, & I’ll have to find the make for the liquid cap but i think i showed that bottle in the video.

I usually tell my clients it’ll last 2-3 weeks before they’ll need a touch up on a closure. But it can last longer or shorter depending on your lifestyle and how good you are at maintaining your hair.

Can you reuse the hair used in a quick weave? Or do you need to repurchase new hair every time? And how long is that style expected to last?

Heyy!! Yes you can reuse the hair, i recommend cleaning it using dawn dish soap and it’ll be good as new. And this style can last 3-5 weeks depending on how well you’re able to keep you hair up.

What is the liquid for that you put on the cap before glueing the tracks?

The liquid cap , it’s an additional protective barrier. So you want have glue on your hair when you take the weave out. Now, all she has to do to take it out is run it under water for a few minutes and she will be good to go

Wait ! What do you do to keep it from getting black and sticky ?

A lot of times it gets black and sticky when you leave glue exposed. So when i apply the lace i pull it down a little bit in front of the glue and let it dry completely before i cut the excess lace off. After that it shouldn’t get black and sticky for at least 2-3 weeks which is about the amount of time it takes before you’ll need a touch up.
