Hi, I know your comment was a long time ago but I have a serious doubt, every time I reset my giga's maternal mutations, when I make a pup of the pup 0 maternal mutation, it comes with the maternal one blown, example: (-1839302) copying the parent and making it negative, would the negative mutation be like mutation 0? can i mutate from this?

Wow, it's lovely to hear from someone who was playing in the legacy days! It sounds like it was so grindy back then? We didn't start until early 2019. We were on 195 🙂

@@GameChanger_Games it was very very grindy hardly any trees rocks or even Dinos! Especially around West zone and south zone It was rough and getting into a stone base and actually having space to build was even a challenge The rates were terrible we didn't have beavers and the mammoth was almost everyone's go to for wood and taming took sooo long it was horrible but we made it work And there was always people arguing in chat over space or trapped tames inside another tribes structure or gates

Use a frash male and only combine the stats at the end 🙂

The easiest way is to start off with some that have alot of mutations already, for example on official most dinos have been bred a lot over the years and chances of you getting one with a lot of mutations is quite good (stats are irrelevant) if not you will have to start from scratch. A dino with one mutation mated with a dino with also one mutation will give an offspring with 2 mutations in its stack, you then mate that with the one that had one mutation to get an offspring with 3, that then mates with the one with 2 to produce a 5. It sounds slow but at a certain point combining them really speeds up the mutation count. This is why starting with a randomly mutated dino with 1000 or more would be beneficial. Hope this helps 🙂

It very well could be a dino that has had the mutation counter combined from previous dinos that were incapable of mutation. I'm failing to see here why you would ever want a dino that specifically has 1k mutations?

Easch time you get a mutation, the game is randomly giving it from the father (patrilineal) or mother (matrilineal) all it means when you get a mutation on the zero side, is that the mutation came from the mother, a zero out of twenty clean female.

I'll ask him but he's been out of the mutations game now for almost a year so he would probably have to rewatch our videos about it to even remember 🙈 sorry, we just wouldn't want to give you any wrong information!

Hi thanks for commenting! You need mutations on both sides (male and a female) and they add together, male with 20 + female with 20 = an offspring with 40. Hope that helps 🙂

It if you've hit negatives you should be good to go. We haven't tried this on ASA yet.

It works on ASA my tribe uses this method on unofficial with over 200 mutations on stegos.

No u only need to do the negative mutations when you have reached 20/20, the negative basically reverts it back to 0/20 so your percentage chances will go back to being at their max. Tbh you could start with a negative mut Dino if you wish, this is just a guide to starting from scratch. Thank you for commenting 🙂

​@@GameChanger_Games This is not correct. The negative number has nothing to do with being able to breed the dino. You can have as high/low a number as you want on one side as long as the other side is under 20 mutations. For example, it doesn't matter whether a male is at 20k mutations or -30k mutations if you end up breeding him with a female whose mutations do not meet/exceed 20 mutations.

Why does it have to be between 2.3 to 2.9 billion. I have a mantis line thats at -2.1 billion on one side and 0/20 on the other. Am i able to proceed?
