40 mushrooms in 3 hours is still good considering you don't have to do anything with a fully automatic farm. With a manual farm you have to actively work to get the mushrooms. Whereas the automatic farm produces mushrooms even if you're doing other stuff or just walking away from the computer for a bit with the game running. My base is full of all kinds of automatic farms for various resources. I barely have to bother gatering most resources at this point and it feels great.

Well the idea is that you dont need a huge technical farm, cause you will need maximum couple stacks of mushrooms throughout the whole game. Im pretty sure you enjoyed building that farm more then it was useful :)

a mob farm works for bone meal as well it is also really usefull for arrows, spider eyes, rotten flesh for villager trades web for wool for beds to mine ancient debris, gunpowder for rockets, bows iron armor pieces sometimes and xp

Sorry to hear that. Auto farm videos forget to tell that mushroom spread only till 5, so u can't really stack those machines

@@Luca-qt9th i build a litle redstone system undergound, just dig a good area to make the mushroom able to grow and use an auto bonemeal dropper and a enchanted axe to insta break it
