Honestly, I have never liked the arrogance of these former Pakistani cricketers, not in the least for their cricketing skills, but for their sense of entitlement when it comes to passing judgments. Now that India has won the Asia Cup, these experts have taken a complete U-turn in how they view India as a cricketing power. For some reason, they never appealed to me as balanced enough or well-read people when it comes to worldly affairs, let alone areas of intellectual pursuits. They all seem to place religious fanaticism front and center in every walk of life. This has solidified my conviction that they can't get over their extreme hatred for India. They have been making a lot of noise on social media about everything India, driven by their sheer frustration that India is making progress in many areas, including the economy, and with no ability to digest the facts of life. Surprisingly, many Indians seem to be taken in by their views on social media and continue to patronize them. I'm not sure why Indians haven't seen through their design to bleed India with a thousand cuts, a policy that every Pakistani seems to have taken to heart. It is time we Indians stopped patronizing these religious zealots on every platform, and this will be a small step of retribution for every Indian braveheart they are killing at the LOC.
