Not really. This is ELC driving 101, and the stars aligned for the player, allowing him to have an amazing result. He even did several mistakes that would have cost him his life nine times out of ten (went in the open in front of a T32, his track miraculously survived; lost connection in front of an O-I, but miraculously landed in a bush; had a poor ammo layout (too much HE) and ammo management (should have reloaded AP against the S-51) but had miraculously juuust the number of APCR rounds he needed; didn't double bush to kill the IS-3 even though the T32 was in sight, etc.) I am not saying he played poorly, mind - you'd have to be Circonflexes to play perfectly every time. It's just that luck, as always, gives and takes - and when you're in an ELC, most of the time you can't afford to pay out for a mistake. I will say, however, that as far as entertainment value goes, this replay is amazing. I didn't know WG had implemented those AFK-ers countermeasures, either. EDIT: I must add a couple things, because on the last ELC replay there were quite a few salty QB fans that tried to stone me to death because I didn't find the video to be the best thing since sliced bread. I actually have my third mastery mark on my ELC: GigAnon, on EU server. Yes, my overall stats on this tank are overall mediocre. Yes, I haven't played 150k games. No, I'm not a special unicum with 5k WN8. Deal with it: the ELC is a low tier tank, unforgiving to noobs, and rewarding to players with a good crew and playing it to its potential. Getting two marks in this tank isn't all that hard (that's coming from someone who doesn't have many tanks with two marks) - getting the third was difficult, however. I haven't tried to "game" the system to get it, however I can attest that it's in those tier VIII games that you're making the difference for the third mark, so if you have a couple friends in E25s, try platooning with them. Remember: there's no such thing as a bad MM for an ELC driver, just targets with more HP.

zombiTrout It definitively was entertaining, and it was a good replay. Just not Hall of Fame material. I don't want people to believe they can't play like that... because it's the ELC, it's doable, and helluva fun.

Honestly, I have seen much better replays showcasing greater situational awerness, better ammo usage, more damage, better outplays,, with less luck, so no, this replay no matter how good it is, cannot be said to be anywhere near the hall of fame replays ive seen.

Because spotting is not your achievement, but your allies'. A bot could go into a bush and get tens of thousands of wn8 that way. Perhaps it should therefore award a very small amount of WN8, especially for anyone not a scout (because let's be honest, spotting damage in anything but a scout is 90% of the time not your intention, and just "randomly" happens). Perhaps if it's compared to other players, but even then...

Gig Anonymous it "absorbed" it because at the angle he was the shell went through the tracks into the ground. If he had been ground level with the T-34-1 it would have gone through the track and hit the hull.

Edwin Leon I wasn't talking about the last shot in the video in particular. Track over-absorption is a known bug in WoT, just like ghost shells (although I rarely see those anymore, WG really improved their earlier code), but it's hard to quantify because most of the time it's because you actually missed the tank proper. No, I'm talking about shots, taken at the perfectly flat side of a lightly armored target, with a very accurate TD standing still. You can see the shell go into the tracks, dead on the center mass... but the damn tank just ignore it, sometimes it's not even tracked. I was told a few months back that it had something to do with shell module damage being computed differently than shell damage, however I can't remember the details.

Gig Anonymous I'm pretty sure module damage is apart. It doesn't affect the penetration of the shell. Each shell has a certain amount of module damage that it can cause, it varies and each module on a tank has a certain amount of HP. That's why some Tanks (usually higher caliber guns) can track vehicles with 1 round as to say 90-100mm guns it usually takes 2 shots. This also depends on the tank as different tanks have different module HPs. I haven't read that much on it but that's what I know. Anyways as for the shells, if you don't have enough penetration the tracks absorb some penetration, usually 25mm I believe just like shooting through walls. So after that the shell could hit an angled hidden part of the hull and go into the ground. But yeah.

Gig Anonymous I do agree though this game has some bugs here and there. A couple months ago I had a 140 come flat side in front of my Jagd E100, 299 penetration 170mm caliber gun. I fire at its flat side, point blank above the tracks between the spaced armour and it just bounced. RIP
