I'm glad to see that even a player as good as QB can have games as bad as I often have, it's reassuring

Something to note with positioning early in the battle is to ask yourself, "Does my survival of pushing into this position depend on the enemy's positioning?" In other words, given perfect counter-positioning of the enemy tanks, will you take a lot of damage getting into the position you're considering? If the answer is yes, 9 out of 10 times you shouldn't take that position, and consider a more passive position. Sure, the aggressive position might work 1% of the time and result in a huge game, but, in the long run, it's safer to take a different position. The biggest way you can help your team is by staying alive, and if you risk your tank hoping that the enemy isn't going where they can counter your position, you aren't helping your team.

I really wish this tank was a bunch more viable or WG gave some proper love to it. For sure one of the best looking tanks in the game

04:19 No QB, there is worse scenario. When your 2 allies meds found trapped facing 4 enemies coming out of a corner, so you are driving one minute to help them, cause u are top tier full hp superheavy, so your three pack can easily rip these 4 tanks apart. But as soon as u arrive to help, your 2 allies use the situation of your presence to run away leaving u alone vs 4. So without mobility to run away too, the swarm gets u and u lose full hp in exchange of doing 0 dmg. It happened so many times, that i even quit helping people in real life ;)

It does help to first know what map you’re on, then look at what tanks the enemy team has so that you can get an idea of who’s gonna probably take what position(s), and make the adjustment around what tank you’re in yourself.

The shot at 12:00 Is what separates great players from amazing players. Luck. You had 1% of your reticle being that tank and it hits. Meanwhile I've recorded my own shots where it's 100% of an enemy tank and still misses.

With the loss of arty being a dependable deterrent , teams are now deploying on one flank and then a backfield camper/ turtle group with td's often hiding behind arty. This has been very frustrating and the games have been quicker and more lopsided, often being determined by the fate of the first 2-4 tanks. Ear;y aggressive positioning has been less successful lately as a result, depending on which flank gets chosen.

Nice to see the FV215b doing well. It deserves a buff.

Thank you for featuring this tank! I got it long ago when it was much better and have found it to be nearly impossible to win in. As usual, you not only showed that it is indeed a horrible tank now, but also can be used effectively if played intelligently. I just wish I could remember every tanks armor thickness from every angle while in the heat of battle as you so masterfully seem to do. Outstanding video!

More people (including myself) need to learn how to call themselves out for their own mistakes rather than constantly blaming their teammates.

The biggest mistake was going up above the dip in the first place. If you don't have the dip secured it's a death trap. And only way to win the dip is to rush it from middle.

Good to remember when i got the FV215b obtainable with just grinding the line.

On my Heavies turbo charger is a must. Sometimes you have to be flexible specially when you see that your light/medium flanks are dwindling fast. You gotta make a decision to tell your mediums/light tanks to fall back and have a 2nd front to prepare and ambush the hyenas who will be rushing to kill the retreating tanks. The horrors will show in their faces when they reach a certain area and be facing a hard resistance or albeit be led to their destruction.

Was away from the game for about a year, logged in and found so much new stuff and changes that it ended turning me off it again. Somehow I still watch your videos quite often - thanks for good content.

Having played this tank again recently, I wouldn't say its just a 'worse Super Conqueror' despite having the same gun. In fact I would say its unfair to compare the two, the FV and the SC are worlds apart from each other in terms of playstyle. the FV actually has a BETTER gun than the SC: SC has 2 seconds of base aim time while the FV has 1.5. plus the FV has better stabilisation on its gun AND it traverses faster than the SC. the only thing the SC has over the FV in this area, is more gun depression. The main difference between them is armour and mobility. the SC of course has better armour, but the FV is more mobile. they may both have the same top speed, but the FV turns and accelerates more like a medium. You can't really out flank an FV like you can an SC. Oh yeah and small thing: the FV has slightly more HP than the SC. People need to stop comparing them, the SC is better as a heavy tank yes, but the FV plays more like a big medium, i've had alot more success treating it like a med than as a heavy tank.

QB thank you for showing a zero battle, these things happen, sometimes we make a zero play by trying to be the hero, so many team mates then DM you after the game and talk shit, it's so frustrating. you can go from a top gun to a zero in a battle and all you were trying to do was push the tempo of the battle and made a bad call. Thinking about the FV as I near 12k bonds but man, super conq is so much better. On the other hand I do love a good challenge, been playing tier 9 French heavy because that 1 out of 3 wins feels good!

When I play heavy what I do is look at the enemy team and think which of these tanks is the biggest threat to mine and when I see those tanks I plan accordingly

Winning or loosing depends so little on what tank you are using or what position you take ... because you can NOT choose the team. WG does it. WG also set hidden-hidden parameters for the tank like quality of steel etc ... it was mentioned some 5-6 years ago by WG, but not any more. So, if FV215b has a bad win ratio, it is just because WG decides so .. it does not want this tank to be used.

the first thing I noticed was the equipment you are using and I use the excact same on my S.Conq.... gotta say with the full field mods this thing became viable for me again. I think more people need to give it another chance again with a turbo/ moby slot and vents. You even get this thing up to 445m+ view range without optics its crazy

i beg to differ. this was my very firs t-10 tank and i loved it. side scraping like a boss and out trading certain tanks. then the super conq came in and i got it for free but i still love the fv215b.

I got the tier 10 sweed when it came out just because I wanted to branch out and get an auto loader just figured it would be better then the French and the Italians since I could go hull down little did I know I picked up one of the best tanks I have on a hunch

World of tanks is like playing cash machines, also if you are skilled you can have bad rng, bad team and bad map. The solution for wargaming is introduce new OP tanks to create some hype but as you can see servers are empty, not like 4 years ago

The only problem is most of people (like me) hates when someone is giving instructions like you do. Most of the time when I try, I'm treated "pro gamer" or "pro strat" etc. And I admit that I don't like when people does the same '-'

It is personally my favorite tank and i don't like the S.Conqueror that much ahah unfortunately the best game i had i was left in 1v3 with 11 000 damage but did not got any round left to have a chance to clutch it ahaha it feel really sad to have a so low amunition storage xD

Its weird, it has one of the better guns on a heavy in the entire game, but the platform used to fire it is utter trash. It's got OK mobility, but the armor profile is riddled with holes. The swiss roll cupola on to is a massive target, the LFP causes engine fires constantly(like a pre buff Tiger P bad) and the one advantage being a rear mounter turret has(IE side scraping) you cannot do because there's a huge weak-point when you sidescrape under the turret. The 35 shells thing isn't the end of the world, but it's not helping matters.

I always had the impression the Intuition happened automatically. I use the first 30 seconds to figure out how doomed I am.

going to that position is fine...just dont do it after 30 seconds of indecision in a slower BIG tank, you probably wont make it.

I wish they'd give this tank some armor. It's so big and the armor is so bad :< it's just covered in weak points.

60TP and IS-7 IS-4 is broken in world of tanks blitz always gets ammo rack by and durp tank like FV215b 183.

As a Heavy tank, it's crapola, no doubt, so that's why I play mine like a TD. While it doesn't have great Alpha, I can sit in the back, snipe, and if all goes well farm some decent purple points.

10:00 and 2500 hp

This is a tank i just wish was better, but the armor is just not good, it's a tank i have in my garage and just want to play but every time i do i just get disappointed. The cannon really is amazing, but it really is a case of a good cannon not being enough. If it had like 40top speed or something and was a more mobile alternative to the super conq that'd be cool, but now it's just sad. It's possible to have good games in it of course, any tank with 2750base DPM, 259pen and good accuracy could have a good game. But that doesn't make the tank good, it's situational at best.
