Hearing the 85mm sound on a gun that does 800 is weird

The sound of the gun is so weird because the tank does 800 dmg but it sounds like a gun that would do 200 dmg

Alpha lowered over distance will not stop 47%er from camping

Actually there is already a conic gun in WOT. It is the 7,5/5,5 cm Waffe 0725 from instance the VK30.01 (H). In fact the projectile is 5,5 cm, but it has skirts measuring 7,5 cm.

That gun arc is enough to prob keep me from going up the line...

You said in your first play the idea of only using HE at longer range to keep the dmg from falling off. Worth a few real game plays to test.

QB. It's a Squeeze Bore gun, the barrel is 85mm, the round is 175mm. The reason it sounds like an 85mm is cause that is the gun barrel's end caliber, and at the breach it's 175mm. Essentially this Blyskawica is WG's first foray into Squeeze Bore mechanics. Does the damage of a 175mm shell, but the sound, and caliber of an 85mm Also, fun fact, Star Tray shells are actually Tank Flares. WG is getting things wrong here. These shells will actually be more akin to Kinetic Penetrators, hence the damage increase at close range and the extreme shell velocities

A lot of people often say that the O-I has the same 150mm caliber gun but is actually 149.1mm caliber gun it can ONLY overmatched 49mm armor l:v So I put that derp gun on my O-HO to overmatched any 40mm armor including the BZ-176 >l:)

I think that dmg drop at distance will keep the bushwankers at bay and therefore is good for the game

the rotation mechanism is very underrated for TD's. it should be used for this tank over vents.

They were also considering a new crew skill that increased your damage near enemies

I think this tank is a perfect example why wot needs to update their sound design so all the tanks can sound more unique

QB, the pronunciation for this tank is “bwee•SKAH•vits•ah” as opposed to”blee•SKAH•vits•ah”. The crossed ‘L’ (ł) sounds like a ‘w’ in English.

They could add a unique sound like a sonic woosh for how fast those shells are doing and zipping into enemy tanks.

FYI, there is already a real-world example of this sort of mechanic with larger caliber navel guns. The new linear accelerator navel gun starts out squarish. Then can deliver a dart out to extended ranges that actually loses pen and damage potential the longer the range. Then again, the range we are talking about is over 30 miles or a beyond visual horizon shot. Since we now have steerable shells available now, then that sort of accuracy at extended distances could be a real thing.

Would you consider changing out your directive for "Vent Purge" to get that extra view range?

Kinda crazy to add such a damage system in a turretless tt which are generally best used for sniping

When sniping on maps like prokhorovka for example, You might want to load HE mostly. Even if you dont pen, you are going to deal similiar damage to your APCR. If you do pen, you hit for 800

This is NOT going to make the Badger irrelevant. It still got better DPM with HE and is usable in more situations. Its also so much better on a ridge. The new tank looks fun tho

The only comparison of the gun I can make from this tank is a squeezebore gun basically forcing a large caliber shell into a small hole will give it high velocity and pen at close distance but will lose a lot of pen(damage in this instance) over distance

I think this ranged damage mechanic is a great gameplay leveler. Means these tds wont camp like so many others

to be fair, if you would tweak the mechanic so it has a high alpha shell in close range with less pen and a lower alpha shell with more pen at distances it would be great. i think the no-distance-shooting if it makes it not great to play in malinovka :D

So does the round cost the same as a round that does equal damage at the say 800 hit points of damage or when it does 300 damage does the round therefore cost the same as a 90 mm gun?

Is the Polish TD line the only one not to get a premium T8 before release? Makes me wonder if the mechanic is frustrating and underwhelming enough that they didn't want to alienate the player base from the line before it came out

I think it’d be a better representation of the vehicles you test on the test server if you only trained 2 or 3 perks, so it’s more realistic to the average player. But overall great video!

Should the Polish Boombox be considered balanced? I'm honestly considering putting it on the above average portion of t10 tanks but it really does depend on how you use it. Might as well grind this tank, seems interesting. And holy does that gun sounds feel so awkward. It's like I'm playing T6 again. But the perk of the 85mm gun sound is that it feels like you're playing an accurate sniper tank, like the strv 103B LOL.

I just dont know if I really wanna grind this, I have the WZ 113 GFT and I'm happy with it. It seems so similiar. Maybe a little grind if its top of the tree but I will not get through the whole line with just that. :/

So basically they took an _extremely_ roundabout route to adding subcalibre sabot rounds to the game. While, yes, the round itself may be 85mm it has 175mm of explosive oomph behind it so they should probably make it sound more like the Jaegeru gun.

So it's a TD that you have to brawl in but you can't because of the gun traverse. Sounds wonderful!!!!!!! Lol

The pewny gun sound of the 80 some odd MM that does 150mm+ gun size damage is off-putting

It seems like a tank will award really aggressive players. But punish those who don't know the armor and such. Those flaps are going to get really annoying quick and it's gonna suck on some maps. But it seems like a really interesting tank.

It's basically apfsds ammo. Gun works, but its frontal armor is so-so...

weird that the 113 has a bigger gun in the same sized hull and can swing the gun left to right further than this tank.

real life guns with similar naming are squeeze bores like the german 2.8/2 cm s.Pz.B.41. a squeeze bore gun will start with a projectile of the larger calibre and squeeze it down to the calibre of the smaller calibre by the time it leaves the barrel.

World of Tanks Console has Taran which has 950alpha with 235meter camo. With a 11 second reload. Not including its 395 heat pen with 152mm gun

Weird tank, it seems like it will be very situational. It has potential to be very good (decent armour, decent speed, dpm) and also it has potential to be bad. Because of gun handling, awesome dpm in close combat, it seems like you need to rush to take good position at the beginning and shoot oponents as long as you can survive. So downside of this might be it will speed up already fast games in wot. As it will reward those monkey pushes at the beggining with this dpm increase especially against t8

it should be more like 1200 damage at close range for this to make sense.

Actually technically the Karl had the fastest shell velocity in the game at 10000 m/s. If I remember correctly, that is. It’s been 10 years now. 💀

It's gonna be an enigma of a tank. You want to go close but it's bad gun depression and arc will be a huge pain. Wargaming knew it'd be awful at long range and so the fast shell velocity feels tacked-on so it can at least be consistent at range, although not impressive whatsoever.

We need another gameplay or two in one week, when there are not so many same tanks

Fun fact: "Błyskawica", means lightning in polish, the name possibly comes from the DPM of the tank. And the pronunciation, can't blame you for it, in polish, unless you know how each letter sounds, you won't guess it.

I Like the Mechanic that the damage of a Shell decreases the longer it flies + the super fast APCR Shells. But i find it has a too Crazy strong Dpm in close Range and a too low dpm at Long Range. My personal change would be it has still 800 damage at 50 m, 400 at 500m But i would give it a Dpm of maybe 3.000base (you shoot in close Range) and giving a gun traverse of maybe -8/ 8. Why? i think with such current stats i guess we will have Even more faster Games where everyone is brawling trough. Cant wait to See here a aggressive 3er Platoon of Blyskawica crushing everyone down.😅😊 A other but pretty similar mechanic would be: the Penetration of the object increases with the distance it flyies. * i know this mechanic from a different vehicle in a Game called armored warfare. It is the MGM 166 Losat. The Problem is just it shoots missiles and no typical antitankshellsl then we have it only in the Game. I doubt That this principle works with normal Shells. But i m still looking forward that they release rocketshooting Vehicels and rocketshells for tanks
