In 2009 you could earn Invincible in-raid in Ice Crown. In 2023 you can buy Invincible, a 15 year old raid loot horse, for $25, if you want the coolest mount in D4. It’s not something you earn, it’s just something you buy that costs about half the price of the entire game.

The thing is, this is exactly how i see Blizzard since Diablo 3(demo), especially since all those awesome devs left the ship including David Brevik and the Schaefer brothers. I really loved Blizzard from the past, the last game i played from the hollow shell that once was Blizzard, was the Diablo 3 Demo just playing it for a bit, didnt even finish it, i realized its not made by the same Devs that made Diablo 2, for me D2 was the last good game they made. Of course i played quite a bit of Marvel Heroes even though i do not like MMO´s, it was a blast to play it, until it was closed... *It lurks Below* was also a fine indiegame i loved to play(its made by David Brewik) kind of a Terraria-ish game with the loot and leveling of Diablo 2, playing as the Necromancer you can turn into a lich at some point and be able to fly.

i bought D3 was pissed to oblivion how shit the game was, didnt buy the expansion on principle... and my retarded head forgot about that and believed that D4 will be more like D3 and i bought D4! And fuck me in the ass i didnt even play free open beta (where i would find out im not gonna buy D4) because i dont like to play unfinished singleplayer games..

For real. I don't keep up with CoD news that much, but when I saw that Diablo CoD shit and then learnt IT WAS REAL... I wasn't even mad. I was impressed. Blizzard has gotten so efficient at killing off their games integrity that they were able to JFK two franchises at once this time around. Like, at least with the Overwatch/Diable crossover it was just skins for already established characters already in a goofy lookin world. But how can any CoD player honestly continue playing their game without feeling disgust and embarrassment when they see Lillith with a green AK running around. I just don't get it. Not a single person who's ever played either of those games would have either thought this could be a good idea. Shit is just straight up fortnite now.

He was actually serious when he said: "Blizzard is dead". He couldn't possibly ignore how bad D4 was at this specific point in time. Imagine for a second that the state the game is in now is supposed to be way better than it was back then... I knew D4 would be bad when all you could hear from devs was generic casual features you could find in any other arpg but told as if it were never seen before. Even the paragon boards were stolen from a rpg card game I used go play. I thought: "maybe they genuinely think they invented the wheel with D4 and that shows how clueless they really are". Seeing the results now, I was right.

It could be resurrected in a year or so if they develop a decent endgame and give reason to the open world concept and a million other things. I'm not holding my breath though. Blizzard been dead and gone since the end of WoW Wrath of the Lich King. Thats when most devs started to jumpship and made their own studio. Hell most of the OG executives have their own dev studios now too lol Nothing left but a buncha woke lefties and Activision execs milking every blizzard IP.
