This is for Thomas - some friendly tea making advice from a Brit who's been making it for 30 years! Don't put your teapot on the stove. Boil some water, add it to the pot to warm it up for a minute or so. Empty out the water. Add your tea bags to the pot in this ratio: 1 per person and 'one for the pot'. Leave it to brew for a few minutes then enjoy 😊 you can buy a 'tea cosy' to keep your pot warm so you can keep coming back to it. Hope this helps xxx

Suggest to Thomas to put the tea bag in the cup and pour the hot water into the cup. The proper English way. 😉
