It is meaningful, since I've been happily following their journey for a few years (via their blog). This video portrays the spacial unique qualities of their home and enormous scope of their project . Great as always!..... the welcoming hosts and of course Stacey....who made everything so very well into pictures. Compliments! An amazing house... the shades of green on the walls were so refreshing. The art work on the walls was stunning. Susanna as always a pleasant guest, posing the right questions, showing a vivid interest and opinion (but never presumptuous) and just looking wonderful. I can't decide if I love this couple and their dogs or the house more. We all should want to live in our homes by wearing it first before you renovate. I think the added wall papers is sensible and beautiful they way they were used. It looks like wall paintings. They have done an amazing job so far. I want to add how interesting the under piping from the sink is in the one bathroom with the uncoated brass fixtures. It defies gravity. I love this video and I hope they do another one when their home has that "feel right" touch and is finished. Thank you Susanna and Stacey, you do such great work for our entertainment and I, for one, appreciate it immensely.

Well, maybe you don't have a degree in interior design, but you actually ARE interior designers. You designed the interior. And spectacularly! I'm off to scrape the peeling bathroom ceiling here in my 1950's cottage. Thanks for the inspiration. I hope there will be a future update of this beautiful home.

Wonderful to see how Susan and Will are making a house just right for themselves and are also taking the time to get to know their house.---So many neat things there whether part of the house itself or the contents brought in by the owners. In the dressing room I noticed the jewelry store stand(?) with a necklace on it.---Susanna and Stacey, arranging the seating in the large living room and not having it focused on the fireplace made me think of someone you may know or know of: In his book "No Place Like Home" by designer/decorator/journalist Carlton Varney talked about how he would get an idea for how seating should be arranged in a room by studying how people would move furniture around AFTER it had been arranged, how they would unintentionally create the most effective placement. The book is very good reading: Mr. Varney wrote about becoming close friends with Joan Crawford in her later years and he interviewed Edie Beale after she became well-known but was still living at Grey Gardens.

Thanks! I'm gonna read that book. I have been spending a lot of time watching how we use the space, and how the space is used when we have different groups of company over. It's really interesting. I've even seen a generational difference in how the space is used, which is wild. We also move furniture when we light the fire, vs the summer time when the fireplace is not used. Thanks again. :)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. How could there be 3 thumbs down? I get excited watching all these videos even though some may not be my exact style I always see something that catches my eye. For example: the wall colors that were used in this house are really unique. Sometimes I will get a landscaping idea and that is not what the video was showcasing. Keep the videos coming.👍Thanks to the owners for opening up their homes and sharing them with complete strangers . I am sure it will s labor intensive getting the cleaning, organizing, and editing for the completion of a video.

Budget is relative...that wallpaper costs a fortune, the paint is from Farrow and Ball...the most expensive on the market and the bed in the guest room is about 8k dollars... LOL If that is a budget... It is one of the most unique and beautiful homes in this series though. The only thing I'm shocked over is the guest bedroom bed costing that much. None of their other furniture seems to be that ostentatious. I actually love the kitchen how it is. I think they should leave it as is, too much of that dark Farrow and Ball paint gets boring after a while. Its a good foil.

@@caligulalonghbottom2629 I can see why you would think that but maybe the wallpaper company knows them or has given them a deal in exchange to social media coverage, times change ! As for the Farrow and Ball, it is possible to have their colours made as the formulas are in the paint Library datebase, I have used it when my budget was tight. As for the bed , it might be a huge purchase but given the amount of time people spend in bed it's still cheaper than a car !! My own bed was found on the street in Paris, it's iron and brass and wonderful ! I too love old fashioned kitchens, they are homely but maybe this couple will decide to keep some of it after living with it as is. I think regarding their choices of colours that they are still experimenting as they have admitted to not being decorators. I hope that we get an update one day. Best wishes .

@@TheFiown I still dont consider that a 'budget' personally. Saving money because you get discounts or freebies for being social media influencers isn't a budget, its a privilege. As for the paint, they definitely used real Farrow and Ball, they have another video on their channel where they do the 'One Room Challenge' and discuss the colors etc if I remember correctly. Its still less money and more 'budget friendly' than you would see at Charlotte Moss, Bunny Williams or Carolyn Roem's homes though so I still get what you meant LOL. They aren't hanging paintings once owned by Catherine the Great etc. I'm not saying the bed isn't a worthy purchase its just in no way what most people would consider budget friendly.. "still less than a car" is comical when discussing a bed. Don't get me wrong... there are beds that I've wanted that cost 12-20k dollars but they are usually antiques and its usually not for a guest room... It is a lovely bed though but I only think it would work in a room with dark colors, the orange tone of that bed would look cheap in a neutral colored room IMO. Well its their home so if they want to paint it in more dark farrow and ball colors, thats up to them. I wouldn't but then again, I also don't really care about kitchens or bathrooms...they are more utilitarian rooms and just don't excite me, regardless of how well they are done. I can see why they would want to change it but it does look lovely when contrasted with the rest of the house. I'd rather see wood panels in at least one room than every room painted. Actually, I'd love if they redid the floor but with real marble checkerboard or a good quality tile. I'm sure the floor is that 1950s weird laminate tile. They may not be decorators but they do a very very good job. Their use of color and texture is really amazing. I'm not criticizing their spending really either... Farrow and Ball paints are the best on the market and the only real paints that change with the light, they are quite unique and its almost impossible to go wrong regardless of what color you use...they always work.

What an interview ! Just love how their vision is coming along with the blending of elements which some would nare say works. The rich deep tones speak warmth and true home luxury. I must say as a staunch minimalist, their collections work within the design of each room and do not appear fussy nor cramped. We had a 1901 farm house once that had been in several configurations and had also had a little vandalism while empty before we purchased it. Lots of delicate and tough work. We ended up selling before it was completed but we did enjoy our time with it. This home showcased today is a beauty! Well done decor.

When interior design goes hysterical. Every single element in these rooms is competing against everything else. Looking at these interiors is like listening to her (the designer) inner voices: "I'm the most unique of them all... No, you are not... I'm the most unique... No, you will never!... The first room is beautifully decorated with a harmony of the unpainted floor and table colors, the dark green of the walls, and the brick orange of the sofa. Another, the chandelier like a chabong ball is cute❣️
