How to sleep when you quit alcohol and stop drinking - powerful tips for amazing sleep in sobriety.
Alcohol plays havoc with the quality of our sleep, when we stop drinking and become sober we can experience disruption to our sleep which can be frustrating and for some people it can feel as if drinking alcohol again is the only solution.
Drinking alcohol is not the solution to achieving quality sleep, it will end up keeping you stuck. You are far better off to create a sleep strategy and plan for a few days of disruption to ensure you can quickly begin to experience proper refreshing sleep as soon as possible.
This video will give you everything you need to know about alcohol and sleeping. I also share tips that you can use to improve your sleep quality so you can enjoy the best sleep of your life after you have stopped drinking.

Hi simon, I’m 37 and really struggling with binge drinking!. I feel really poorly after I’ve had a binge. I can go for a week or two but then I will binge for 2-3 days. It’s effecting me so so much!. I want to stop but it’s so hard. I’ve been though so much this year had a huge operation back in jan. I’m really going to try and move forward and stay off it as it’s killing me. I’ve found your Channel and want to thank for all you advice.

Exercise and hit the sauna. Drink a glass of milk before bed. It will make you healthier. Good luck. I have the same situation but take it ome day at a time

@@daruwayyyno, I’ve tried some gummies, but I don’t like them. Idk what medications to take. I’m pretty sure it’s the anxiety coming out that I used to sedate with the wine. It must be faced and dealt with. It is getting much better since I posted that.

Sleep is the big one for me. When I wake up exhausted, the lack of energy is deadly. If I am too exhausted, I cannot function and I get desperate for rest.

How long has it been? I'm currently on 8 days of 2-3 hours of sleep and it sucks, but even with that, I feel I have more energy than when I was drinking.

I'm starting to fall alseep more reliably now. Still takes longer than it used to but it happens. My issue now is that I wake up to pee every two hours without drinking. The quality of the sleep though is still better. Hope the nocturnal peeing goes away at some point.

Tapering off from an amount that would be dangerous to quit immediately, after a traumatizing event, just reached a point of reasonable functionability. Rarely sleeping although feeling much better, yet so early in the process feeling like i need to sleep. I want off alcohol completely, thank you for the helpful information. Any advice for when someone has to taper off?

I need this info, as well. I have never been a candy eater until now. Maybe eating a bowl of fruit before bed will help.

Keto diet and intermittent fasting will make these cravings go away. Blueberries are great for regulating blood sugar and getting rid of the lust for sweets.

i had one drink after months of being sober but now i feel tingly days after and can’t sleep anymore than 2 hours??!!!?? what do i do? no vitamins seem to help
