In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/casey-c/mapmarks

I had a godly daily run as defect with this combo PLUS unceasing top once everything became 0 cost. Bosses were obliterated (after like 3 turns of setup mind you)

I had a very silly run on Silent with establishment + well laid plans once. Prismatic shard is probably my favorite relic in the game just for how ridiculous it gets.

1:13:00 I think playing powers should give TAO a stack of ritual instead of direct strength. Then remove the regen

13:17 @baalorlord if you watched the replays you'd see that, 75-80% of the time you point with the mouse to the relic you're going to buy, then speak for a while about the options, then buy the first thing you pointed to.

I had a very silly run on the Silent with establishment + well laid plans. Combined with a lot of draw and two bouncing flasks it was hilarious.

That smiling mask pickup is insane!!!!! The dude literally only looks at the here and now. I was absolutely flabbergasted. I mean he’s the one with thousands of wins so he clearly knows what he’s doing but dang I would’ve never and I LOVE smiling mask. One of my favorite relics. But 75 gold is insane!!!!!

Name your favorite prismatic shard combo! Recently I had a Defect run where I got Juggernaut, and generated tons of frost orbs and did 40-50 damage every time I hit "end turn."

Scrape has some really cool combos, notably DeusEx, Tactician, Reflex and Corruption

Trying to work my way up to A20, just did A16 in 45 mins. Snecko, necro, bludgeon, whirlwind. Felt glorious. Runs usually take me almost 2 hours

Huh, never thought of the possibilities with Darkstone Periapt, maybe Du-Vu Doll, and the free parasite curse. Too bad you can only get one, I believe…

I usually get rid or a strike rather than do an upgrade. Those starting cards are what ends a run IMO. A feed quite early is a great call though, it's not for a speed run but you can easily get over 100HP. The searing blow was too late, I once got that at the start, at +9 etc it's a joke. I wish I was so fast at doing the sums ^_^. Great feed on Snecko before Champ. I would have taken the 5 hp and the loss of the tail. Thread and needle is great with barricade. The whoops on the free feed one a single orb idiot was a easy mistake lol. Getting a feed on that dude that goes immune was a epic fight. Dupe is just epic for powers, especially with barricade. Like dupe after image on a shiv build? Great heart fight, he stood no chance!

It's about Hermit, the modded character. Hermit has guns and the joke was a play on *caliber* / *caliper*

On twitch, “Calipers would be good here” gets spammed every time he blocks for more than 15. And really gets spammed randomly anyway. He made a play on that spam saying calibers would be good here because the over blocking hermit needed more bullets instead.

Interesting change on the thumbnail! I really felt like showcasing Establishment and Equilibrium was far more interesting than Demon form and Infinite Blades. Perhaps it was to show that it was an Ironclad run?

kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sJZdhZyD3MjWnok.html The Defrag was probably worth taking, with monkey's paw it's at worst a free card (that, granted, doesn't replace itself) that gets you 1 extra armor per turn. It's only down side is it doesn't play well with pocket watch but otherwise it's just free armor.

Baalor said the most important thing is to have fun playing a video game. If you're not enjoying yourself, why are you playing it? He doesn't care that much about winning to not want to enjoy himself, and given his experience, he can definitely accomplish both.

He has Bag of Prep, Art of War, Corruption, Barricade, Demon Form, Feel No Pain, energy and draw covered…. Zero downside to Prismatic 😂.
