I have recently started the course at level 1 and it said that it is for people who don't want to learn grammer and meaning behind every word, but just simple phrases. What do I do if I want to learn the meaning and especially grammer of Japanese?

Apps like Busuu, Kanji Study, Duolingo (mostly beneficial for beginners) can teach the basics and help get your foot in the door sites like Japanesepod101, fluentu, 90dayjapanese have lots of resources for learning. What I do is search what I want to learn (for example, words relating to telling the time or asking directions) and I basically take down an entire blog teaching about it. Reddits like r/JapaneseLearning r/LearnJapanese are good to follow too, I just wouldn't ask for translation help (little backwards but it's reddit)
