Stuck at home with a positive COVID test. At least I've got the A-Z Trivia Quiz to keep me busy.... Today, I scored 22/26. I missed L (I've actually never heard of that game), P, S (I've never studied French and my coin toss went awry....😁), and Y. Again, I did get Zed!😆 The world population reached the 1 billion mark early in the 19th Century. The first answer is spelled correctly without the leading "A" in American English, estivation. Fortunately, I realized the UK spelling was what you were referring to. (Interestingly, my spell checker indicates BOTH spellings are incorrect!😛) Sometimes it's hard to remember that the U.S. and U.K. are two great nations separated by a common language!🤣 Now, off to find something to fill these last few days of quarantine. Thanks for this distraction.

25/26. Drat, got caught by the pesky one again but it had to wait until Y! I never remember that term - probably doesn't help that I've never actually heard it said outside quiz questions (but I've heard it often enough in those that there's not really an excuse). The bonus is another one I tend to get mixed up, but I'll try 19th. Thinking around the 1800s, first decade of the century, that sort of time.

Was this set to a timed release or is there a fellow Brit staying up absurdly late? Anyway I'm pleased to report a decent score of 21, much improved on the 11 I scored on my previous attempt (which was my first) at this format. So my last two quizzes have been done while half drunk or at an obscene time and have been two of my best. I think I shall have to do your quizzes completely hammered ad 4am in the future. Also, nice to see my young age working in my favour for once as I'm young enough to have watched the Octonauts myself lol
