I think this video needed elaboration on the extreme complexity of the Quran in terms of expressing its meaning, which proves it could not have been made by a man. This would be the hallmark of evidence since the scientific and historical evidences were discovered far later. The hallmark of evidence needs much more elaboration and examples in terms of its complexity.

What Allah says about the Quran in the Quran • There is no doubt in this Book (2:2). • Allah has taken the responsibility to explain it (75:19). • Allah says He has revealed the Quran and He will protect it (15:9). • Allah’s revelation to the Prophet (PBUH) is written in the Quran (6:19). There is no verse in the Quran which says that Allah’s revelation to the Prophet (PBUH) is outside the Quran. • Momineen are asked to obey the revelation from Allah (7:3). • The Prophet (PBUH) was asked to obey the revelation sent down on him (10:109). • The Prophet (PBUH) was asked to follow the Quran (75:18). • Allah required the Prophet (PBUH) to follow the blessed Book sent down on him (6:155). • The Prophet (PBUH) used to judge matters according to the revelation sent down on him (5:48). • Those who do not judge matters according to what Allah has revealed are Kaafirs (5:44). • In the Quran, Allah has completed His message and no one can change anything in it (6:34, 6:115). • The Quran encompasses the message of earlier revelations (5:48). So, the truth of earlier revelations is now contained in the Quran. • In it there are no contradictions (4:82). • Allah has called the Quran “Tibyaanan li Kulli Shaiyin (16:89)”. This means it explains everything. • Allah gives many verses on a particular topic over and over again (6:105, 17:41). This means that we have to collect all the verses on a topic in order to understand it fully. This is the Divine method of understanding the Quran. • The Prophet (PBUH) was required to solve all human differences through the Quran (16:64). • The Prophet (PBUH) was required to admonish and remind people through the Quran (50:45). • The Quran itself is light (5:15). So, it is not dependent on another source of light. • This light (i.e., the Quran) has been given so that human beings, using this light, can travel safely on the path of life (6:122). • Allah undertook the responsibility to collect the Quran (75:17). [The logical conclusion from this verse is that the Quran was collected and put together by the Prophet (PBUH). Allah decided the sequence of Surahs and verses and no one else besides the Prophet (PBUH) could have received the direction from Allah on how to put them together. There is no verse in the Quran asking the Prophet (PBUH) to delegate this extremely important responsibility to anyone else.] • Whatever difference human beings have, the decision is with Allah (42:10). [Since Allah’s decision is contained only in the Quran, it is logical to believe that it has the power to serve as the constitution for the entire world, creating a universal brotherhood. In my opinion regarding validity of the Quran, as the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) stated himself that he could not read, he would not have an overwhelming knowledge the contents of the Torah, NEVIIM or KETUVIM. He would have received revelation in complying the Quran.

I'm a Christian and have been studying the near-death experience for many years. I've seen many NDEs where people have been told that the Bible is divinely inspired and containing spiritual truth. Recently, I heard an NDE where a Non-Muslim woman was quoting the Quran on the other side during her NDE which indirectly points to the idea that it too is inspired and a spiritual text. The reality is, a revelation form God is an amazing claim, not unlike a claim that a person jumped over a mountain or swam the ocean nonstop. What is more likely, that a man known to be sincere actually received the word of God or, he made it up? Remember, allegedly sincere people stating untruths is pretty common, individuals receiving the word of God is not only uncommon but it is unknown in the annals of human history. There are countless reasons why Muhammad would make it up.

It is good that there are people in Islam like Shabir Ally who are indeed open enough to _really_ discuss such topics without blocking every question, without killing all thoughts in claims. That is good for Islam because, as sadly as it is, but that is a great exception. However the arguments he presents here are not really convincing. Whether Mohamed appears to have been sincere in his motivation is an interpretation. An interpretation based on the way some terms were phrased. That is not really helpful as an argument. Subjective interpretations rarely are. The same is true for the second point claiming that the way the text addresses Mohamed himself apparently can be seen as a strong hint that it could not have been him who wrote that text. I strongly object. Considering that even Ally himself brings the option into play that Mohamed might have used the _claim_ of a divine revelation as a way to gain more followers, to lend more weight to his statements, this conclusion presented as the second argument falls down into pieces. Because if were the case then one would _exactly_ expect such phrasing to make the text more convincing. So that cannot be an argument at all. It is as it is: all the religious doctrins are based on nothing but pure claims. There is not a single _real_ evidence one can name that really suggests that there is more to them than just that: claims. That is true _if one is honest_ . That does not mean that "god" does not exist or that Mohamed was wrong, certainly not. But it is important to be honest in what the situation actually is. Instead of making excuses for claiming otherwise despite better knowledge. Or better the lack of actual knowledge.

Quran is really not prose, please speak of what you know only. The Quran is rather unique in its form and fuses poetry and prose(the Quran has both elevated prose and some metrical compositions and fuses it together so that you cannot distinguish between them) to make its own genre, that's why it is a miracle because there is no relation with the grammar of the Arabic language and the letters to produce that literary form. What Shabir does not tell his audience, is that although the Sana manuscripts are early, the Sana manuscript differs from the Quran being used today. There are hundreds of variants, including word changes and meanings, and even differences in Sura arrangements. There are differences between the lower text and upper text in the Sana manuscripts which shows an evolution in the text. The Quran is extremely well preserved, but, not perfectly preserved. Which flies in the face of those like Shabir Ally and Islamic leaders who lie to their people and claim the Quran we have today is 100% perfect without error or discrepancy, exactly as it was revealed to Muhammed. Since we do not have any complete early Uthmanic Quranic manuscripts, that claim could never of been proven anyway. The Sana manuscripts contain only about 50% of the Quran.

In the very deep state of meditation brain works in different way. Culture and observation as a notion of information influences thinking and perception of reality uncounciously. In other words, nothing happens in a vacuum. It happens because human mind is capable of creating the reality and what has been once created becames a part of creation. It is supposed to free of any doubts; it teaches absolute reality. divinity, perfection and unchangeability on the basis of the eternal knowledge of the All-Knowing God in His own WORDS. Yet, we now discover that there are 32 different versions with 90,000 variations. It has become very clear why Muslims are so fearsome in the defence of the Quran being Questioned and in many cases, doing so brings cries of Blasphemy. The reason is that If the Quran were really the Actual words of God, it could NEVER contain any imperfection or disparity let alone be misunderstood or questioned. Therefore, it CANNOT be perfect in anyway WHATSOEVER !
