I bought one of these for my 94-year-old, disabled mother. There is no way she can pick this up or move it because it is so heavy. Otherwise, it is pretty good.

You are confounding the variables. Take Mark as an example he has used the cubii for 3 hrs 20 mins approximately burning 330 calories a week. Lets say he intensified and burnt 450 calories a week, over 8 weeks burning 3600 calories which is a pound of body weight. He has lost 10 lbs, therefore 90% of his weight loss has come from his cycling and calorie restriction. The equipment will help but one at least needs to aim for 4-5 hrs a day to burn 500 calories a day and burn a pound of BF/week.

@@blakeharvard5841 Hey that's good to hear! I ordered a similar product. It's the AtivaFit Mini Elliptical. It comes in the mail tomorrow, so I'm excited to try it. How do you count your calories? With a HRM/Fitness watch? How long do you usually exercise on it?
@blakeharvard5841
@blakeharvard5841 4 жыл бұрын
@@Penelope416 it takes roughly about an hour to burn a hundred calories if you work if you pedal without ceasing, at a let's say a medium pace that should be good enough. It has a calorie count on it as well as how many steps you taken. On my machine all you do is just hold the button down for 3 seconds and it will restart the steps and the calories burned, but if you're the only one that's using it you don't have to restart it. Try only eating whole grains foods and drinking plenty of water.. would be my advice. Just do what works for you 😊. It takes approximately 3500 calories that need to be burn off to lose 1 lb, but don't get discouraged additional exercise is needed most likely to lose weight.

@@blakeharvard5841 Yep, I'm aware of the calories in/out, and I do agree with eating more whole foods. It's what has made me feel and look my best. I'm just not sure how accurate the elliptical is, because for a lot of them, you can't plug your own stats in them (age, height, weight for instance). I think for me, it would be best to get a HRM/Fitness watch to get a more accurate reading. Thanks for your response, I appreciate it!

Do I also get the bands with my Cubii Jr. order., because I haven’t receive them. Or I order them separate. And how much are they. And a Travel Case. Price. 👍🤗

Lol go on their official site. Don't ask YT for answers you can easily find. And unless you ordered the bundle you won't be getting their resistant bands for free. They're a seperate order. Same goes for the travel case

I understand there is a black mat, about 36x36 inches, which may be an optional extra. However you could just as easily get a rubber door mat at Home Depot. Unsure, but check it out.

Real Treadmill, full body cardio? nope, too much exercise. Regular bicycle, full body workout? nope, too much work. Cubii ankle workout? nope, too exhausting. I'm waiting for the "BIG TOE ELIPTICAL" machine to come out! That should be just about the right amount of effort for me. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

one major drawback I foresee with any exercise equipment is the repetitive motion injury. I wouldn't be willing to give more than 20 minutes each day to get that energy expenditure and a good night sleep. the best time to do it is not while watching tv, or in the office. but right before you go to bed, or especially when you wake up from a restless sleep in the middle of the night. hence, if you are serious about burning calories, do it with diet, blue light filters and outside walks.
@omairbinenam6337
@omairbinenam6337 4 жыл бұрын
@2021 judging from the mechanics of it the elliptical motion is much easier on the 'knees' when compared to a traditional cycling. still the key will always remain with *variance* in motion. which one may achieve from outdoor walks.
@omairbinenam6337
@omairbinenam6337 4 жыл бұрын
even sound of animals, birds or even cars may influence the walk and achieve that natural variance let alone irregularities in wind and pavement.

@@romi6336 if you plan on doing it 10 minutes tops daily. then yes, go for it. if you want to exceed your exercise time by another 5-10 minutes then I'd suggest a desk elliptical. its easy to get carried away with any exercise equipment and over doing it causes more harm than good.

This looks rubbish. This is not a cycling action. Your heel stays the same distance from the ground due to the silly little rollers. The crank distance is too short. All you are doing is flexing your toes. What more junk will they show us.

Plus, by adding some upper body movements/increasing a comfortable resistance, (even weights/water bottles) it can actually be a full body work out. It can help someone w SPECIFIC needs, get an work out I have actually lost weight, using this and eating right. (you have to be creative, but can definitely make it a work out) I even make a little dance w it. (w the RIGHT music lol.) I have knee issues, and it has helped me get some low impact exercise. If it's not for some that's fine, but people shouldn't assume, it won't help others. Everyone's situation is different.
