In my opinion regarding Exter vs punch: Poor NCAP rating of NIOS gives lots of questions of safety of Exter. Otherwise it's a good car in almost every way in its segment. The only reason to select Punch (vs Exter) would be 5 🌟 global NCAP. The only reason not to have Punch would be the bad or not the best ownership experience even for a brand new car (& around

1) door will open while running is it safe? 2) tata cars steering calibration is too worse , most of tatat cars slide towards left side only driver has to hold it in steady is it safe? 3) tata cars engine caught fire more than other brands is it safe? 4) 90% service center will never solve ur car problems is it safe? 5) under the steering the wires were exposed openly without any safeguard is it safe? i never support maruthi tin cans below 10 lakhs but breeza, ertiga,xl6, grandvitara equal to korean cars build even better than it, or try HONDA used car instead of new tata cars. Yes good request & it will be an important thing that most people don't talk about much. Should add the below mentioned points too: * ownership experience from brand new to long run * Randomly occurring manufacturing defects, issues and niggles in the provided features (especially in Tata & Mahindra) * poor service quality, irresponsible behaviour (reply) of service centers of some brands. * Spare parts availability & costs * Labour charges of different brands (approx general Comparison) * Overall ownership costs * which car / brand will give users the peaceful ownership experience.

@@vetrivela3810 👍 Agreed, My Colleague 4 months old Nexon have steering issues, he went to service centre 3 times still issue not resolved, his car was parked more than 3 weeks at service center but service centre supervisor claims steering issues is common for most of the nexon, harrier cars, this can't be resolved bcz manufacturing defects. Iyanthiraparavai saravanan also shared the same exp with tata service. I have i20 2013 asta, I haven't face any major issues, I getting service cost b/w 4-7k per year and spares are easily available.

@@karthikk1251 Yes. There are many horror stories like this in Tata & Mahindra. Generally Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai offer very good peaceful (yet somewhat reasonably affordable) ownership experience even in really loooong run (80k + km run).

Who knows about cars atleast 50% knowledge of mechanics buy Tata cars, else don't buy. Because maximum people don't know to maintain and say tata brand is fault. And yes service centre also lack in proper service. So who has better mechanics and know about car very well pls purchase Tata. The same faults happening in tata too happens in other brands. But bcz of that brand no one will speak about that. But still Tata is growing. And no.2 and no.3 in sales figures

Baleno is best in power and mileage,I don't recommend tata cars because my friends have so many bad experience,exter is now the king in price and features,sure it will get 4 stars or above in n cap... Test ride Baleno and exter and choose your choice

I am not agree with Exter , hyndai is very smart 1. Kappa engine is not best 2. interior parts completely copy paste from I10 3. Generally suspension is not good for hyndai cars . 4.rear seat is not good

Kappa engine is reliable and cheap in maintanence, Interior parts are same as i10 ,yes it is part of price cutting,it is benifit for people, Suspension of exter is best in class,good steering,good in cornering,better stability and AMT is India's best... Please test drive and feel the difference
