I think the world deserves and needs drizzt on the big screen, the whole story.

Be careful for what you wish.. Let's maybe wait a couple years. Let the CGI become indistinguishable from reality, let the dnd movie get traction with a sequel. Then do a SERIES of the Dark Elf Trilogy. 12 episodes.

That would be really epic. It should happen soon!

Drizzt is the greatest DnD character ever imagined. He is the perfect blend of Luke Skywalker and Drow Elf.

They need to make a Drizzt game like Ghost of Tsushima but in the Forgotten realms

Ooh! That'd be 🔥

This was one of the only series of fiction books I’ve ever really been into. (I usually like non fiction) this serious though was just freaking amazing. This guy is GOAT status. ❤ I always imagined those scimitars whirling like helicopter blades ❤

The story of the conception of Drizzt always has amazed me.

May the corporate shills never get their paws on this. I first read the crystal shard after I saw it on a train station bookstand in Fort William in Scotland, just after it was released back in the eighties. I sat and read it by the edge of lochleven and was hooked. Now I've read em all. Never even played D&D

Your books are the best in the world! I love your imagination. I always considered dritz character, to be, who I always try to live up to. Even though I fall epically short, there was a time when me and Dritz, weren't to far off, in righteousness...those days are long gone though, but I just wanted to thank you, and tell you what a huge fan I am. Your the man at all D&D realms, ands down no holds bard champion! I don't care what anyone says!👇💣🤩

Love hearing RA talk, heard him in person like 15 years ago, and it was great. He was very humble and inspiring, when is the full episode coming out??
@alhyde12692 ай бұрын
He just confirmed the correct pronunciation of "drow" 🙂

Amazing how a character he unexpectedly pulled out of his ass turned into one of the best series in fantasy, and certainly the best D&D books, ever. Then again, he's an incredible writer, so that helps.

Things don't just happen. It came from somewhere far away. Somewhere out there in the Many universes I believe there is a drizzt.

Did R. A. Salvatore ever planned to create a movie or a long serie about Drizzt Do'Urden ? This will be joy to me.
@peterandrews4418Ай бұрын
If you're an avid reader, why would you want it destroyed by corporate TV people who aren't fans. It would be better as a movie trilogy made by fans. It's like Zelda. People would play for hours and years but people want to see it made into a 2 hour movie? Nah. I recommend you read Bob Salvatore or Brooks or Feist. Fantasy is a literary genre.

I'll add that the character, Yvonnel Baenre is right up there with Drizzt

Make a movie for real.. CGI maybe Japanese anime.. all you need is a voice actor.. that would be great 👍

I quit reading a few books ago. Just couldnt do it anymore, man. The series has gone on WAY too long. Should have ended with the closing of Passage to Dawn - Drizzt and Errtu kill each other, Wulfgar saved. Done..
@cowpuddles485110 ай бұрын
Absolutely. I stopped reading when all the main characters were reincarnated as other beings. It just became a joke.
@omok24 ай бұрын
Lol what? You think a story about an elf who can live several hundreds of years as taking too long? I understand your gripe about the reincarnation cause it makes their deaths less meaning full but it's also dnd.

2023 D&D Movie. Originally had “Regé-Jean Page,” okay “Drizt,” WoTC owns TSR & “Forgotten Realms!” (THINK ABOUT PROMOTING D&D NEXT GENERATION? GREEDY) So the replaced it with Xenk Yander (Paladin) That is Why “Underdark,” Adventure originally written in Movie? PLEASE HAVE “JAXAXLE,” & “Artemis,”. DO D&D SERIES! (RA Salvatore has Rights to those not TSR?)
