On this episode, TheFallenState TV host Jesse Lee Peterson is joined by rapper R.A. the Rugged Man, fresh off the European leg of his tour. R.A. opens up about his close relationship with his father, who was the subject of his song, "Uncommon Valor." His father was a Vietnam War veteran who was exposed to the toxic chemical Agent Orange while in battle. The repercussions, R.A. explains, included that his siblings were born with very serious health issues. Jesse asks R.A. about his relationship with the late Notorious B.I.G. and Eminem, and about whether rap has had a positive or negative influence on the culture. Jesse and R.A. spar about marriage relationships (do most women belittle their husbands?) and what it means to be a man. Watch this lively dialogue unfold, as a white rapper debates a black pastor!

Peterson advised the man not to put Chritianity in is children but to let the kids chose on their own. How stupid is that??!!! The kids should learn Christianity early as possible and everything that supports its validity, not be taught by the lying world. Peterson is not to be trusted with advise.

I understand what Jesse means. I also grew up with an emotionally unstable mother which caused me to deal with anxiety and suffer from a lot of health issues. Once I moved out I started feeling sooooo much better. Like I could literally do anything and be whatever I want. My mother treated me like I meant nothing to her for a long time. She herself didn’t have a great mom which I later understood and forgave her for everything. I now feel so much more happier and emotionally stable and can THINK before I ANGER. I promise to never become like her or treat my children like that. And yes now it makes sense, woman raise men, so the man only reflects his mother. If his mother is unstable so is he... same applies to girls and their mothers and fathers.

Jude Graham It's amazing how much a change in environment/ppl around you, can affect your health. Mental health also affects the physical. Depression and anxiety can start causing physical problems, on top of the mental. Depression is no joke. Good luck. You seem like you have your mind right, but it's a constant struggle. Stay strong and stay blessed.

Jude Graham what about the children who grew up in foster homes, group homes, etc. they are not fortunate to see either good parents or bad. Is it their own fault they’re angry? How can they be mad at parents they may have never met? Or how can they not hate parents that abused them. Your dilemma is very selfish. And where is god in your life? In your testimony your uplifting Jesse as a savior. He’s a reverend, a false reverend at that. Jesus is the only savior. Glad your life is working out perfect for you. But seek the truth. God is mighty.
@judithgraham7709
@judithgraham7709 6 жыл бұрын
Train Hopping any child who is abandoned will always feel a sense of void in their life. Which indeed will cause natural anger depression and frustration. I had my mother and she ignored me when I begged for help. I cried on my bed and she’d close the door and walk right pass so she wouldn’t hear me. She told my family members that if I started screaming to call the cops on me and get me out of the house. All I wanted was for my mother to listen to my feelings and she told me because I didn’t pay rent , my feeling were NOT important. DONT YOU DARÉ TELL ME I DONT HAVE GOD IN MY LIFE. HE WAS WITH ME WHEN I WANTED TO KILL MYSELF WHEN MY MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER DECIDED NOT TO COMFORT ME WHEN I WAS IN PAIN, GOD DID! I might as well have grown up in a foster home with the lack of love and support I received from my family. God is present and will always be present in my life because I’m here today to tell my story. I am not sellfish, selfish would have been to take my own life when others had it harder than me. But don’t you dare tell me god is not in my life and I am selfish. I forgave everyone who put a knife in my back and abused me emotionally mentally and physically. ONLY GOD HAS THE ABILITY TO BLESS SOME OF US WITH THAT ABILITY. DONT YOU DARE DISRESPECT ME. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL
@fruitninja4923
@fruitninja4923 6 жыл бұрын
Jude Graham yes, I have mercy on my soul. I have salvation through Jesus Christ. I just saw you giving Jesse glory. And I ASKED you where God was in your life. It was a question. Never said you were a non believer. So can I ask you about this God you speak of? What God do you serve? I serve The father in the Holy Bible, and through his son Jesus’ sacrifice I’m a believer and forgiven of all sins past present and future. And In your response and initial comment, I never heard any Gospel of salvation. If you happen to die tonight, will you be in heaven? If yes, then can you tell me why? And our voice speaks what’s in the heart, your language and proclaiming God using the F word really shows testimony of forgiveness.

Jessey does a great job at simplifying the subjects down to the lvl R.A can understand, in his other interviews like with TIM he was being openly challenged and didnt know how to react and on his interview with jared taylor he was just simply way over his head in subject matter as well as intellectually against jared, really this interview proves more of the quality of jessey as a good host then it does R.A as a guest, it was much more enjoyable to watch i agree

How the heck are you going to compare rap music that glorifies cop killing, gang violence, and so on to a movie that tells a story...the movie isn't promoting anything as well isn't a culture motivator as rap music is/does, it doesn't give a side but only tells the story of what occured within the context of that movie. I don't think it is the same at least not for the most part.

He reminds me of Rocky Balboa. I kind of agree with the angry at mother thing. I have had lots of anger with my mom steming from childhood. She was quite overbearing and she constantly put me down and treated my younger brother very lovingly. Sometimes i wonder how much better my life would have if I would have had a mother who supported me and told me good things about myself. I have tendencies to be violent and mean and I push people away, but I do fight these tendencies and I come off as a nice guy.

There is a HUGE difference between movies and songs. When its a movie everyone knows its fake and acting. But when its music, and people that are easily suggestible listen to that everyday, if does affect you. The problem with rap is that the rapper talks from their point of view (whether its real or fake) and then the listener idolizes that rapper and wants to act the same way and dress the same way. If a rapper only talks about doing drugs then it can really influence kids to want to try it. Stuff like that. And that’s why its such an issue in communities where kids don’t have a father because they’re looking for a leader elsewhere. There is no way that you can deny how much music influences culture! You might think that it’s ultimately up to the listener and how they act to it because they’re an adult. But children do not think like adults and they’re easily influenced. I’m only 26 I’m not old and when I was younger I loved music and I was really influenced by it. It wasn’t until I got older that I realized how bad it is and how much it affected me.

@@muximus2771 typically a person will match the energy they are presented with during interactions. Jessie is a troll but he does it in a respectful manner. The Tim Pool conversation is bait. Tim Pool is a smug person who many people would love to slap. I’d suggest not passing judgment on someone without looking in the mirror first.
