Srisailam is a census town in Kurnool district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal headquarters of Srisailam mandal in Kurnool revenue division.
Srisailam, a hill town in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh is home to the holy Malikarjuna Jyotirlinga and also as one of the eighteen Shakti Peethas of goddess Parvati. Situated on the banks of river Krishna, Srisailam is identified with a wildlife sanctuary and a dam.
You could seek the blessings of the almighty by visiting the many majestic temples in the city such as the one dedicated to Lord Shiva (it is renowned as Sikhareswara Swamy temple) or the famous Bhramaramba Mallikarjunaswamy Temple which is located at a height of around 457m from sea level. The Nallamala forest ranges with multifarious flora and fauna lie in close proximity to the Srisailam hills.
Mallela Theertham is a waterfall located in the Nallamala Forest in Nagarkurnool, Telangana, India.The River Krishna flows through this forest. It is located around 58 km from Srisailam and 185 km from Hyderabad.
R. Vidyasagar Rao Dindi Lift Irrigation Scheme is a lift irrigation project in Nalgonda, Telangana, India. It serves Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar and Khammam areas.It was named after R. Vidyasagar Rao, a foremost irrigation expert in Telangana.

Hum 10.30 morning nikle and evening 6 bje tak pahuch gaye ..but raste me 2- 3 spot cover karte hue gaye..as I have shown in my video...but continue drive kare to jaldi pahuch jayenge

hyderabad se srisaillam map pe 357 show kar raha hai but aap bol rahe ho 217 km am getting confused becz distance 300 se jyada hoga to hume prblm hojayegi

I don't know why map is showing 357km because humne bhi car se hi travel kiya tha and Hyderabad ke jis location se start kiya tha waha se 217 km hi tha

And don't worry..because jo way hai Hyderabad to srisailam ka bahut hi smooth hai , beech beech me jo b spot hai agar ruk ke cover karte hue b jaoge to bhi koi problem nahi hogi😊😊

Mujhe v 350+kms dikhaya at evening.. not sure why... solution Kar sakte h, add break points in map like hyd-dindi-octopus viewpt- Srisailam.. this will give the 220km route in map..

Is it compulsory for women to wear saree or Salwaar Kameez with Dupatta at SriSailam?

No .its not compulsory if you are going for only darshan..inside temple maine dekha mostly ladies ne suit hi daala tha even I also ..but shorts are not allowed inside temple area..but if you are going for abhishek or any special puja saree is compulsory

Srisailam website se room booking nahin Ho pa rahi hai not available dikha raha hai any idea offline mil jayega kya 8 person ke liye aasani se plz tell

Yes mil jayega waha pe bahut sare locals ne bhi dharmshala kind of bana rakha hai apne ghar ko so don't worry..thora search karna padega. Because humne bhi waha jakar hi room liya tha ek dharmshala me..but room was ok ok not in very good condition..we stayed there for one night

The shortest recommended route from Hyderabad to srisailam is by road ..can hire a cab or taxi..it take max 5 hrs. On the way you can enjoy alot....can also visit 2- 3 more sites.😊

Jaisa ki maine apne video me share kiya hai ..actually hum raste me 2- 3 tourist spot ko cover karte hue gaye the ..and we started at 10.30am morning approx from Hyderabad and reached in the evening approx 6pm.

No..aisa kuch to nahi hai but mostly sabhi ne Traditional hi wear kiya hua tha in female and male was in normal wear jeans , tshirt, shirt

हमने वहाँ एक दुकान वाले से यही सवाल पूछा था और उन्होने यही बताया की सब करने देते हैं बस भीड़ नहीं होनी चाहिए..पर अगर भीड़ ज्यादा होती है तो बस VIP टिकट में ही जलाभिषेक या स्पर्श दर्शन करने देते हैं जो कि 1000- 1500 का होता है Saturday और Sunday हमेशा भीड़ होती ही है

Mam , mujhe nhi lagta koi direct route hai srisailam se Mumbai ka..aapko srisailam se hyderabad via car jana hoga and then waha se Mumbai ke liye flight or train kuch bhi le sakte h..You can check with Google also😊😊

We have used our own car but you can book online ola cabs also from ahmedabad to srisailam. Room rent are very reasonable we have stayed in a private sadan and payed 1000rsper night near temple.

Thanku so much..I think the hotel name was "Srisaila nest" .. In returning from srisailam..when we crossed tiger reserve after few kms this hotel was on right hand side..food was also awesome 👌

Actually we went by our own car..but you can book ola cabs from ola app directly for outstation trip that is the best option..book in advance pickup from airport 👍👍

No, we went for only darshan..and my husband was wearing jeans and T-shirt…but if you want any proper dress like dhoti ..temple ke pas hi shops hain aapko mil jayenge

थोड़ा चलना पड़ता है क्योंकि मंदिर से बाहर gate area मे भी थोडी दूर गाड़ी allowed नही है लेकिन आप दर्शन करना चाहते हैं ..बहुत हिम्मती हैं आप जरूर जाइए..बहुत ज्यादा नही चलना पड़ेगा
