I was told that "I wish I could" has ZERO possibility back in school, but every single time I used the structure, natives always took my wish so seriously. The other day, I said 'I wish I could have the mug that you have.' to my friend, and he sent me some Amazon links of the mug to me. And I was like 'Oh, look at this kind guy😀'' But now you explain everything lol It'd be nice to travel all around the world without any restrictions. It'd be nice to have a second hand car. It'd be nice if I spoke English like you do in Japanese, Jun. It'd be nice if I earn more than the last year. Thank you for the amazing video, and I hope you all stay safe :) Cheers!

It'd be nice to be the cool bilingual guy like Jun-san someday... Recently I've come to listen to Hapa Eikaiwa when I drive repeating the sentences Jun-san says. I found it very good way to improve my English ! Thank you very very much for a lot of amazing videos. This channel is the best for me !! Next year, I'm going to try the first grade of Eiken. It'd be very nice to get the first grade of Eiken next year. And it'd be nice if you could check these "it'd ..." sentences.

Thanks for the tips. BTW, I'm wondering if there is any difference in nuance between these two sentences: 1. "You'd be so nice to come home to." 2. "It'd be so nice to come home to you." What'd you think? It'd be much appreciated if I could have your reply in English.

７０年代に活躍したアメリカのバンド、ルビナーズ（The Rubinoos）の楽曲に「It wouldn't be nice 」というラブソングがあります。サビのところで、It wouldn't be nice to be together tonight と歌ってて、「今夜（あの娘と）一緒になれないのかなぁ〜（本当はなれたらいいんだけどな）」と歌っているのだろうか？と長い間思っていました。それが今回の先生の動画ではっきりしました。ありがとうございます！

I"d like to もいい表現ですね。I'd like to は I want to をもうちょっと柔らかくした言い方で「〜したいな」を意味します。It would be nice to ~は「〜だといいな」や「〜できたらいいな」のように、意味は似ていますがニュアンスがちょっと異なります😊

It would be nice to live by the beach の例文で気になったけど、by, near, closeの違いってネイティブの人からすればどの程度の感覚なんでしょう？ It would be nice if you make a video about this topic.

by は2つの物の間に何も無い感じで、日本語でいうと「私はあなたのそばにいる」の「そば」って感じです。near と close は「近い」って意味になりますが、near は基本的には距離が近いことだけに使いますが、close は主語や目的語によっては距離以外の「近い」という意味になります。例えば We are pretty close. と言うと、「私達はお互いの事をよく知ってる関係だ」という意味になります。。

It'd beの発音ですが、「tは発音せず」とのことですが、dも発音していないように聞こえます。耳が慣れてないだけで、dは実際発音されてますでしょうか？

It'd be の自然な発音は /ɪɾəd bi/ で、どちらかというとDが発音されていない感じです。早口だと発音されていない時はありますが、普通は口の形だけで息を出さない感じです。あと直前のTがフラップすることがほとんどなので、日本人の耳には「イロビー」か「イラビー」のように聞こえることが多いですね。。
