Sastras, puranas and ancient literatures like Tirukkural speaks
volumes about the greatness of Vedas. Very many saints, pious and noble persons in the past have carried on the chanting of vedas and have passed on to the succeeding generations.
Due to the unstinted efforts and benign blessings of Sri Kanchi Mahaswamigal, the Vedas have not only been protected but also nourished and have been passed it on to our generation.
For the sustenance of Vedas, SRI JAGHADHGURU VEDHA KAVHYA VIDYA BHAWANAM a Sama Veda Patasalai, which was started 10 years ago has turned out more than 25 students whose merit has been certified by Sri Kanchi Mutt and Sri Sringeri Mutt.
