The fences on the path make sense because my town did the same thing. We had a issue with people flying down the hiking paths on bikes and taking people out in blind turns. They ignored the "no bicycle" signs for a few years. Now that the fences are there i dont have to worry about my 6yr old getting taken out by some looser that thinks he's the next lance armstrong.

10:47 I believe those are like that for people or teens more likely, who sit on the stairs and socialize with their friends. This allows them to use part of the stairs for sitting while keeping the main stairs clear.

The three (or another odd number) intermeshed gears is surprisingly common in graphic design. It is possible to have three gears that turn each other, just not pinion wheels, which are the ones depicted.

Man, I just love the brazilian money designs, they did such a good job when they updated them in 2013 (the new designs are what appeared in the video). And all was going fine with notes for 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Reais and then they just *had* to fuck up last year with the release of the 200 Reais one...

0:46, as an autistic person... thanks for the migraine. Lmao. It's a great idea if you're trying to put us all in actual physical pain. Then again, considering how often they kill or brutalize us for having meltdowns maybe it's a great design--now we'll know when to hide. (Jokes aside, I really wish they'd either train police how to deal with us properly or start sending mental health professionals to deal with our meltdowns instead of people who were simply handed a gun, badge, and authority over all other civilians just because they took a 13 week training class.) *EDIT:* For anyone who doesn't know, that vehicle was designed specifically in response to an autistic boy being shot several times for having a fairly nonviolent meltdown. They went inside and started yelling at him. We can't handle certain sensory inputs, which can vary in severity from person to person, but generally ALL of us can't handle yelling, shouting, and loud sudden noises in general. We may become so panicked by the _loudness_ that what words were actually said do not register in our minds and it may as well have been as if you had shouted gibberish at us. As is an entirely normal response we would have *especially* at a time such as that, he tried to run away, which was when they shot him. He nearly died. A meltdown is a completely normal and common response we have to distress or sensory overload and is quite literally a cry for help. Our meltdowns can be violent and quite impossible to control--we have no idea what's going on while they're happening, and just want all the pain, confusion, distress etc to stop--but we don't hurt anyone if you keep your distance from us when they happen.

A nurse bashed my head against a concrete wall because I was crying for 10 minutes and she apparently couldn't handle it. TBH I strongly doubt putting so-called "professionals" on the job will change anything at all unless the social perceptions around mental illness change for the better. Tossing medication at everything is not a solution. Inb4 "autism is not a mental illness." Yes, yes it is. My brain is missing a chunk. That qualifies as an _illness_ and it affects my _mental_ state.

@@Mavendow I have mixed feelings about lumping autism in with mental illnesses, but I won't begrudge you what helps you get help and stay happy and healthy. I dislike the people who act like there's nothing "bad" about autism, but I hate "autism mommies" who make their children out to be irredeemable monsters *more.* It's difficult because we need to show a united front or they see that as a sign we don't know what we're talking about. I'm autistic level 3, recently diagnosed, with complex PTSD. I probably should have been diagnosed with ODD as well because I don't respect people or rules the way it's considered acceptable. I have a hearing with a psychologist in September to get disability and I'm hoping this is the time that works. I've killed small animals, and my family didn't know how to deal with it so they beat the ever living shit outta me. Yeah.. because that'll teach me violence doesn't solve your problems (lol... sarcasm). I have a hard time understanding when I've inflicted pain, but I'm learning to take accountability and find things that make me want to be "good" even if I think good and bad are subjective. I have a hard time distinguishing fiction from reality, and I believe my life is just a game I can take a break from. When things happen without my permission, I get mad. Like popsicles melting when I'm not looking. It makes me mad. That... isn't a "normal" thinking pattern. A couple years ago, I killed a raccoon for attacking my cat. That's all good and well, no one can fault me, right? Well I killed it with a gratuitous amount of pesticide. I took away all the water so it couldn't clean itself off. I tried to get it out of the house but it kept getting back IN even when I punted it off the doorstep with a broomstick and it was running away limping. I'm autistic... I'm one of the outliers. Others say we can be trusted, we're not inherently violent so all of us should be trusted. Maybe the others sure, but me? I'm violent. I'm mean, and it's not always to defend. Sometimes defense is the *excuse.* I enjoy inflicting pain. I found coping mechanisms, I have games, and I have drawings. I can get out the violent feelings that way. But I feel a rush of *euphoria* when I hear pained death screams. It doesn't matter if it's a game or real life. But I know people would prefer if I kept it to games. My mom doesn't call me her little angel anymore. She long since realized I'm a demon sometimes.

Not always, where I live they put one on the walking path because a guy was robbing stores and hopping on the bike to go on the pathways that goes around the whole island and there no way for a car to get on. Course people did the same thing as this picture so the added bars to the side so you can't get around it like in the picture and the cops go quads that they can drive on the pathway, except where the bars are (although I think that unfair since the rest of us are not allowed to ride quads up there 😁)

12:28 I am pretty sure it is related to PUBG's "Winner winner chicken dinner" you get after victory. Due to phones overheating while playing PUBG internal temperature sensors lower "tell" the CPU to reduce clock speed in order not to fry internal components. By cooling your phone down you can technically stay at the same clock speed whole game.

3:50, it’s black where it should be white. It’s a wrap around so the image is extended around the spine, but the back is black where the front is white

The slide you see at 10:14 is rather clever, it may look stupid, but it allow kids to go or walk up on it as children often try to do, so they can try run (climb) up on the wide side to slide down on the straight side.

Sorry mate, those are slow points to prevent cyclists from speeding past and potentially hitying pedestrians. Bollards are used to prevent vehicular traffic. Notice there is only one path through the grass?

This is the first of these videos that didn't make the narrator seem like he'd grown up in a cave raised by technophobe religious fundamentalists. He made jokes, and understood the jokes of others! And knew what he was looking at! It was a miracle! I may allow my family to turn the sound back on if this is the new narration style - good job 👏
