Its been two days and I cant stop crying, I cant gather myself enough to put together a video. It's awesome to see everyone come forward with their stories and condolences. One hell of a giant void has been left in this world with him gone.

Super sad. I not long got home after finishing CBT for depression and feeling better than ever and just learned of this, back down to earth with a bang. I found it hard to get help but it was the best thing I did, I just wish he could have found the same before it was too late. The world will be a lesser place without him

Holy shit. I've subscribed to his channel for years, watching him fix cars, repair all sorts of things, destroy washing machines and whatnot. I'm shocked and, as you put it, it's shit. My condolances to everyone.

Oh God NO! I've seen every video he's made since 2010. Turned out he had youtube's best motor burnouts, had me literally in tears. But of course there's more to watching his videos then that so now it's the other kind of tears. I'll miss him for the rest of my days. First video I saw was his best air conditioner motor burnout when I'd never seen content like that before.

Thats terrible news, Utube community has lost another of its great characters. Condolences to Edds family, friends and all of his followers.

NO WAY!!!!!! I just cannot believe this has happened! He will be missed greatly. I have watched some of his earlier vids where he took off the top of a fridge compressor and run it with the top off, right through to the washing machine kill vids, epic burn outs and all of his knowledge about scroll........ ........compressors and even running one of those with the top off while on a VFD and spraying oil mist everywhere in the workshop! And who can forget the FLAMESPIN vids!! Oh my goodness, what an absolute scream of a laugh that was!! I know that V8 jagnut (Brad) and JGCertified (Julian) are going to be particularly hard-hit by this news, as they knew him personally, as well as here on KZfaq. I just cannot believe this has happened! As soon as I can, I will be contacting Mr. Photon and letting him know of the news. Afterall, lets be honest here: It was Mr. Photon who inspired Ed to have a go at (and later go on to perfect) tbe washing machine kill vids. Maybe, just maybe I can persuade Mr. Photon to do another washing machine vid in memory of Ed Systems, otherwise known as Aussie50. This news is going to take a little while to sink in.
