Alright, song theory time: girl likes person person does not like her, most likely because they're stalking them and trying to hurt themselves and others they tell their friends. leading to them seeing the girl as a monster girl sees that they're talking about her girl gets mad girl continues to stalk them (I believe the line "say goodbye to lonely nights" isn't her just suggesting person dates her, but also implying she's watching them sleep.) girl begins to murder everyone around the person girl listens to person talking about her obsessive behavior and begins to get confused, because in her reality, they're in love with each other girl pretends to be harmless to person's friends/loved ones ("hey did you hear? This song is definitely about a toxic and possessive relationship. And the subtlety of her wanting her partner to hurt themself for her says it too. It's subtle, but you can tell. I love this song however, and I'm happy to see a new song from RIProducer! Edit: Also noticed looking closer at the lyrics, she seems to be quite manipulative. Like at the end of the song, she says "you should be sorry" and also seems to be blaming when she says "look at what you've done to me" and also "look at what I've done for you" which are actual common ways that a person can manipulate someone.

The way her eyes and hands shake mixed with the background makes it look like her head moves and it's fucking with me so severely and I love it. And the "Why are you shaking?" line?? Holy _shit_ that goes crazy. The design is on point for the character too somehow!!

Really great song!

as someone who is both a past victim of abuse/generally shitty friends and someone who has bpd and relates pretty heavily to a lot of your other work because of it. this song HURTS. its like, this is the people who want to hurt me. this is what my brain wants me to be sometimes. really well done as always.

The entire vibe of this song for me is “uncanny valley” vibes. The character is unsettling in multiple ways. From art to lyrics… The rambling & shifting perspectives of how she views the victim of her obsession- the legitimately disturbing toothy grin and her eyes going all shaky. It looks like she is forcing her “friendly” smile- trying to put up a facade, but the uncanny vibe completely throws her off. Judging by the comments I'm not the only one creeped out!! This just shows how well you made this song :) Everything is just perfect 🤌 I remember when you released Monochrome Mentality & it's insane how fast you improve in everything??? Also the lyrics also hit wayyy too close to home and reminds me of a possessive “partner” I had when I was younger.

....Wow. I'm genuinely shaken by this song. I personally loved it, with it's fast pace, the rambling, even a SynthV voice I've never heard of before. It genuinely is now one of my favourite songs, it sent chills up my spine. From what I've been able to find, there's a ton of little things in this video. Putting aside the shaking of the eyes and hands, which are very well done, I've noticed things like the saturation of the video becoming brighter and brighter as the character seems to be getting excited or off-the-rails from their crimes and obsession. The "Someone's not reciprocating" line also struck me, as though the character believes that since they've done all of this for their obsession, there's no way they wouldn't like her back. Including the ramblings, I'm genuinely shook by it all. And during when she sings "Lying" and "Crying", I can hear static in the background as she drags it out, getting louder until it stops alongside her. A few days later I also notice certain words are highlighted with a second line of text behind it in a different font! it's a creative way of emphasising certain words asides from the more common way where the highlighted word is changed colour. The mice and crocodile lines are also really smart, hinting that the character dehumanises or has dehumanised her obsession by using those words and using the line "Crocodiles crying at the loss of their goddess" hints at the saying "Crocodile Tears", which mean an insincere show of grief. These are what I've been able to pick up regarding the song, it is genuinely amazing! Hope things have gotten better for you though, as even if you've managed to get out of a toxic relationship, it can still hurt. Thanks for reading my ramblings, and please take care of yourselves. What I think makes this more off putting is that she seems to genuinely not understand that what she’s doing is wrong, trying to convince herself that “certainly you aren’t talking about ME?!” And telling herself that she isn’t faking reality, stuck in a cycle of denial. Lines like “what’s a girl to do” imply that she feels like she HAS to do this, and looks distraught and confused when the object of her affection is terrified, after “All I’ve done for you!”. She seems like she’s trying to be kind, but is so misguided in her attempts and ideas that she hurts herself and the person she loves to show her affection.

This song goes so hard for real. It’s a pure, fearful adrenaline rush-fight or flight incarnate. The eyes constantly moving around really adds to it! Definitely gonna blast this for the next month

The subtle shaking was downright unnerving. It seemed like once the eyes and hands started shaking, it seemed like everything else was shaking as well despite being completely still. You really outdid yourself with this one. You never fail to leave me both concerned, but happy in a weird way. Thank you for being you ❤

I just realized, her pupils get smaller as the song progresses, showing her descent and loss of her victim facade. She starts all normal; “just another person in society,” even as she’s doing bad things. Then she loses a bit of that facade, starting to do more and become more confident in herself (literally bashing in a door). Then, at the end, her pupils are tiny, parallel to her slipping masquerade. People see the truth, she has to accuse. She has to make that final move _now_ because it’s all someone else’s fault. She’s lost her grip, so her actions become extreme. She’ll either win or take everyone down with her in loss.

Looking behind the lyrics there are certain words there. Example: at 1:24 the word "WATCHING" is written once more behind the lyrics but none of the other words in the sentence. Although I was never in a toxic relationship, this song resonates with me. Reminds me of my old bully in middle school who pretended to be my friend, they were jealous of me and they tried to convince me that the stuff they were doing to hurt me was actually not a big deal and told me I was overreacting. (They pushed me off of their porch, stabbed me in the hand with paperclips, put out matches on me, etcetera.)

I like how her eyes have such a prominent black gradient while there's red inside. Compared to how everything else is shaded, I feel like the black and red can symbolize just how horrible her intentions can be and how strong her love is for this person. The twirls in her hair (Sorry that I don't know much about hair terminology) also remind me of drill bits, making me think of it being symbolism for drilling love into her mind, or her trying to drill her abusive attempts to love into this person obsessed with. hm. thoughts. I picked up the abusive, blaming language. The varying speed of the vocals really makes it sound unique, while giving a feeling of unsteadiness. Reading the compiled lyrics made me a bit ill! Completely horrifying. The record-scratchy scatting is really cool. Like an extension of her convoluted/incomprehensible rambling. I think the line that gets to me most when actually listening to the song is “Baby stop crying.” Like, she wants them to “reap what you sow,” wants to hurt them, brutally targets them and what they hold dear, and now is confused and stressed about why they’re crying? So cruel and out of touch. Thank you for sharing your work.

You got my morbid fascination (and this song slaps), my music teacher’s approval, and my classmate’s terror, so I guess that’s a win?

oh jeez, this character gives me a chill up my spine, seriously. the emphasis on "love" and love-bombing (not sure, haven't experienced that) is really well done here. it's clear to me that this is an obsessive and manipulative character. the character design is also on point, too! the heart symbolism, pink and red colors, and even the pose! i may be reaching with this, but i feel like the hair, glasses, the clothes, and the vocal choice could possibly be another way of feigning innocence? the style of hair is something that i'd expect to see on a child, and the round design of the glasses convey friendliness. there are so many tiny details in the video, too, like the typography (glitching text and translucent white text behind words with importance), the character's slight movement of their hands, and the eye movements! beautiful

Damn, this song… I actually lived this. TW FOR: S/A and Ab*se I used to date a person who faked dissociative identity disorder to get away with doing horrible things to me and my body. This includes sexual violence and assault, and they would force and threaten me into doing the same awful things back to them so they could create a false narrative of trauma and abuse to form sympathy from other people. It became so frequent that I ended up being obsessed and addicted to inflicting pain on them and receiving pain in return. My body and mind were violated and torn to shreds. I became an absolutely awful person. I couldn’t feel anything for anyone except my love and hatred of them my love of the pain I inflicted on them, almost as if it was revenge and the pain I receive back they told me if I ever stopped doing any of this they would kill me and my family. They would tell everybody the horrible things they made me do to them so I would lose all respect and any reputation I already had. Eventually I had enough. After I stood up to them, and everything they were doing to me, they left me. They broke up with me and left me on the spot. Just as they said they would do, they tried to ruin me the second they left. They told everyone how I r?ped them(i didnt) and how I was stalking them to hurt them(i wasnt) They tracked down people I knew to harass them and make them cut me out and harass me. My personal information was doxxed. I was being threatened by people I didnt know. It was a nightmare. My mind became plagued and sick by rage, and I want it to ruin them and everything that they had. I wanted to ruin their life. I became paranoid and did some pretty bad stuff in retrospect. All for the sake of getting back at them. I never got justice. They were never arrested. And they are still out there today. I ended up getting help and I have received therapy. But damn does this song hit me in the feels. Even though the things this character does are horrible, i understand ir. i find comfort in it. I’m glad i can have this as a bit of solace. I love songs from the point of view of the abuser because it kind of helps me process what the people who hurt me were thinking at the time It also helps me process the times I was the abuser and see how fucking crazy I was acting. (I am actively trying to become a better person and I have seen what I have done was horrible, is hurt people, and has made people not wanna be around me.) I both relate with her and I am terrified by her because she thinks the intrusive thoughts I rather not think and encourages them. I’m not trying to romanticize abuse and violence, I’m just kind of spitting out whatever the fuck I’m thinking right now.

Edit: when rewatching it multiple times., I noticed some more things I forgot. That was absolutely fabulous! Worth the 5 minutes of pain from KZfaq’s countdown! Here is my theory for it: a lady is madly in love with another man, who is currently dating someone. The woman her crush is dating seems to not like her at all.Then rumors start to spread about her being awful, but she doesn’t know why. Then, she starts to manipulate him into loving her more and more. she starts to annoy him and such and his love starts to just straight up yell at her. He also starts to get more nippy at her because he seems to be paranoid because, probably she was stalking him? I don’t really know but then she thinks her lover was the reason for all of this, but he doesn’t say that he is the reason. after it seems she might have killed the man’s love. She manipulates him into thinking life is perfect and now he is hers. Then, she is exposed for murdering the lover, causing him to start shaking. She begs for him to say “I love you too” since the lover is out of the equation. She tries to reassure him until he attacks and makes her bleed. Then she realizes that he was the one talking about her and saying those rude things and now can’t collect herself anymore after the shock. Maybe she dies because he killed her or she cleared game save slot 1? I don’t know after that. But hey! It’s just a theory!

HOLY SMOKES ANOTHER AWESOME SONG BY R.I.P! I missed the premiere but its okay because now I have additional context to the song. Alright so, the song as stated is about the girl (Shocker, who I will be calling Miss Miseryguts) who romanticizes violence and Injury and seems to be hurting herself and making her partner hurt themselves seemingly to prove their love. Which is obviously abusive. The Lyricism is fantastic as per usual and the song left me with chills in the best way possible. I also like the detail of the title being 'Miss' and not 'Ms.' or 'Mrs.' And to the people in the comments equating Miss Miseryguts to having a personality disorder (Specifically BPD) can we not?? If you relate to her you should be seeking help. Having BPD Doesn't make you a horrible person who abuses their loved ones. It's a horrible stigma Same thing goes with claiming Miss Miseryguts is a 'yandere'. Its weird and romanticizing the creators trauma and we should respect that

I saw the premiere preview of the song and I *IMMEDIATELY* knew it was gonna slap so fucking hard 💀 This song is SCARILY accurate to a relationship I had in the past, and it makes me genuinely kinda sick when I see people not taking this kind of stuff seriously. This is a REAL thing that REAL people inflict on OTHER real people. ESPECIALLY people calling it "yandere 😍😍😍", it's not yandere it's abusive and disgusting. The fact people can come on here and find this stuff attractive/relatable is horrifying. Nobody EVER deserves the trauma that comes from these kinds of relationships. Long story short: If you can't respect the fact that this song is meant to discuss the creator's AND other people's traumas from abusive relationships and feel the need to be disgusting about it, please leave /lh Thanks for covering this subject RIP !!
