Bloody love this. There's such an old school soul charm to it. Really joyous. Reminds me of summer in the 70s. GAA, twoball screwballs, playing out with mates until the street lights came on, making nests out of cut grass in the fields and the distant sounds of radios' coming from the open kitchen windows. One of the most beautiful songs ever created was released today. I've been going through very tough times in my life, dealing with an illness that it's pinning me down and making me feel like geniunly wanting to die. When Róisín said that this song was about life, death, music and everything in between I knew I would cry the first time. This song doesn't feel happy to me, it feels extremely emotional, to me it is about how life can be both a blessing and a bummer when you start to question it. However, it also has a message of hope, and that's why it gets me, she's fighting against an energy that aims to take away her joy in life, but as it is too short, the song invites us to live even if we don't get all the answers. Inspiring, beautiful and touching, Róisín is an unmatched artist. Thank you for existing!
