​@@siliswest498, I own a bogart which is basically the coolest head accessory there is, and since neckbeards became a thing... I can't wear it! And I used to wear that all the time because I looked friggin' awesome in it! Especially with a trench coat. Neckbeards are why we can't have nice things and I'll never forgive them for that! >:-(

Northern England, Ireland, and Wales were pretty known for fraternizing with the Danes who invaded. Something I found out from Nicole Rudolf’s channel, the trilby hat was named after a book that popularized feet pics in the 1890s. I find that this connection makes the neckbeards choice of hat hilarious.

Yeah I feel like people sometimes get wrapped up in mocking these guys for being “cringe” when they are just into different stuff and a bit socially awkward which sucks. It’s waaay more about these men being entitled, unselfaware, misogynistic, assholes who blame everyone else for their shortcomings.

You're good fam. Most people I know including myself like those as well. It's more about being a decent person and not being extremely entitled and sexist than simply liking a couple hobbies that might be considered "nerdy" (DnD, just as anime, is heccin popular nowadays anyway). The best thing you can do to not worry about these things simply is not being an ass! :)

I mean tbf it's not even about working out, that can help but I feel like a lot of people like this have other things they need to hash out first. I tell a friend of mine when he complains about similar stuff that maybe he should look into himself and figure it out because while he is a kind person he just has some things he really needs to hash out. I'm over weight due to health issues and while I'm not hideous, I'm in no way attractive and yet when I looked into myself and started to work on myself I found someone that was willing to work with me and have been happily I a relationship for years now. We learn and grow together and thats part of the beauty of a relationship. Not saying to change to fit someone mold of who they think I should be more along actually be willing to admit your falts and work on them. Put forth an effort and people notice yknow? ( not talking about you specifically more just in general so please don't take this in any way personal )
