Whitney talked about this song often that Robert (that is what she called him) Kelly wrote this 10 years before she did it for her. The timing finally came. I cry so hard listening to him sing this with every emotion from his body, soul, and heart. It is sad what has happened with him today; the devil works hard on those that love the Lord to falter to find their weakness. This is the R Kelly I pray for to be restored in God's glory.

What most people didn't know about R.Kelly singing this song on the day of her funeral. He wrote this song almost 5+ years (10 years) before it was song because he wanted Whitney to have it. So once she started getting better..... it was released by her angelic voice. He was struggling to sing but only he could sing it.... it was personal. What people don't understand sometimes most times. For all the mistakes that are because we are all human beings at the end of the day. African Americans look to our stars as they are the greatest example of the possibilities of being celebrated outside of our ethnicity. A sign of acceptance. She was more then an African American singer. She was loved around world but especially in America. Also R. Kelly made this grown man cry. When I think of music of my childhood. I look to Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Madonna and Janet Jackson oh and Phil Collins. But the loss of two of the strongest stars in such tragic circumstances is just tough. Whitney Houston will deeply missed not just for the music that could've been made. But for who and what she represent to so many people.

What a lovely comment - and so unlike standard KZfaq fair! Thanks for posting your thoughts. I think Whitney was such a brilliant artist, one of my all-time favourites. Such a tragedy that we'll get no more new music. Her video for "I Look to You" always makes me sad - she looks so radiant and happy in it, so graceful. It was a fitting video/final song (for here in the UK), but it just makes me feel the loss when I watch it.

God loves us all!Even R Kelly!We all have came short of the glory of God!We all have sin!Ours sin is bo better than his sin!I still say it is the parents fault!It started back years ago, Parents use to sell their daughters for money!I was watching 👀Roots the others night when the master slept with young girls and one of the lady daughter did not want to go and she said, if you go the master will buy you a coat!It started from the master and continue on for generations to generations!And it is still going on today!Not just Crack head sell theirs children you have hungry money gold digging a.. parents!If he lock up they all shall be lock up!Including the people that was his friends and saw it happening!And these girls was not little girls!They were teenagers!Hot teenagers!When I was theirs age I was scared to be left in a room let alone a grown man house!My grandparents taught me alot!It had me where I did not trust men and some men in my family!And I always was a child who pick up spirit!It like I felt when someone was not right!And I did not like to do sleep over at anyone house!A did not care if you were family!And to be a grown man at 14,16 etc,Thinking about it make me want to throw up🤮🤮🤮
