PARSHURAM-
Lord Parashurama, an incarnation of Vishnu, appears in both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. He restored balance by defeating corrupt Kshatriyas and later atoned through meditation. In the Ramayana, he confronts Rama for breaking Shiva's bow but is impressed by his humility. In the Mahabharata, Parashurama becomes a teacher to Bhishma, Dronacharya, and Karna, training them in warfare while holding them accountable for their actions.
HANUMAN-
Hanuman, mentioned in both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, is known as the son of Vayu, making him a brother to Bhima, who was also born of Vayu. During the Pandavas' exile, Bhima encountered Hanuman disguised as an old monkey, teaching Bhima humility when he couldn't move Hanuman's tail. In the Kurukshetra war, Hanuman humbled Arjuna, who had boasted about his archery skills, by challenging him to build an arrow bridge. After Arjuna's failures, Krishna intervened, and Hanuman agreed to sit on Arjuna's chariot as a flag, protecting it throughout the battle while Krishna delivered the Bhagavad Gita.
VIBHISHAN-
Vibhishana, despite his demon heritage, chose righteousness by opposing his brother Ravana in the Ramayana. In the Mahabharata, he supported Yudhishthira's Rajasuya Yagna with valuable gifts, showcasing his commitment to virtue.
BHARDWAJ-
During their exile, Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana sought refuge at Sage Bharadwaja's ashram near Prayag. Recognizing their divine nature, the sage guided them to Chitrakoot for meditation. In the Mahabharata, Sage Bharadwaja is noted as the father of Dronacharya and the grandfather of Ashwatthama.
VASHISHTH-
Rishi Vasishtha, a sage among the Sapta Rishis, cursed the Vasus to be born as humans for stealing Kamadhenu, except for Dyaus who received a prolonged life. They prayed to Ganga and were reborn as King Shantanu's sons, including Bhishma. Descendant Vyasa facilitated the births of Dhritarashtra, Pandu, and Vidura. During the Pandavas' exile, Yudhishthira sought Vasishtha's guidance, learning virtues like patience and truthfulness.
