You couldn’t be more right. On the line at competition with a whole lot of other really really good shooters, a big part of it is the mental game. Criticism is the lowest form of participation!

Good watch. I have one of Dougs .257 builds and had the pleasure to meet him recently. Cant say enough good about him. Anything Doug built, is a keeper. Ill never part with mine. Met Nick too at his shop when he was here in Cali.

Awesome! Congratulations on your placement in the Magnum class. I imagine the competition was tough and in that field of shooters ,number 3 is fantastic. If you have some video, I would enjoy seeing it on your channel. Hey I have learned a lot about airguns since finding your channel. Thank you.

My man!!! Thank you so much bro. It was an absolute honor to have to attend the event and I am glad to call you my friend! Thanks for the video and the shout out and great shooting bro!

I'm glad you attended the event and had such a good time. I also want to thank you for your dedication to this hobby of ours. It's because of your videos that I got back into hobby after about 20+ years away. I used to shoot silhouette in the late 80's and early 90's in Southern California and look forward to shooting in competition again.
@Tofazfou2 жыл бұрын
Glad I did too! Shooting an event is 100% different than what we do on video on a regular basis. No pressure when I'm shooting alone for video😉
@southboundsuarez98323 жыл бұрын
Congrats ! Been looking forward to seeing you compete in some sort of competition. I always assumed it to be the Airgun BRC. Sorry I don't do social media but have been with you and dyotat since the old TAG forums and your excellent .257 shooters bible posts on the TAG. We had a great group of fellows over there. Hope to keep seeing you doing some of those more esoteric competitions like the Benchrest Challenge and things like Magnum long range big bore. Hunting accuracy and plinking dingers at a distance is all good , even things like the 400 yrd Pepsi challenge brought on by Roach Creek are extraordinary but as we move forward with our airguns, Precision Long Range is where it is at! Competition helps breed cutting edge technology within the sport. We have seen a big trend in the popularity of PCP airguns and advancements within PCP with ammo and custom bullet fodder. The trend continues to favor big bores and the need for power. Too much never enough! total ft.Lbs as the race and demand beckons for more. Personally, I would like to see a greater trend for building a longer range small bore precision paper puncher. (Does .25 count as small bore?) I remember when it was said that .177 bullet was doubtful... Now you have HMaiR ! Gotta love breaking the boundaries. Let's look forward to flatter shooting longer range precision shooting for airguns future. Let's start punching paper at 400 yrds! I enjoy nothing better than setting up my airgun stuff at my local range alongside all the guys with their AR builds spraying bullets at the human torso self defense targets 100yrds downrange. I come along with my small bore paper targets and a .257 aigun nailing one inch groups over a long shot string (tethered to scuba) . The powder burner assault weapons guys scoff at the "airsoft" at the range guy and don't give me the time of day until they see the results. .88 gr bullets, @ 100yrds compared to their 55gr and 69 gr autoloader fodder against a small bore target when invited! Let's keep it precision !

Watching you all these years, I always thought you were a smart guy. But to see you in all of that with no mask just tells me different. I know, no one here has on a mask I won't put mine on that way I'll be accepted. Very disappointing.
