Nice video! Lots of information. Thanks ! I have a similar problem i.e., to fit a linear model where 2 factors affect an output.

Two-way ANOVA may be appropriate in that case, depending on the design. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r854qd2dr7_VgY0.html

Thank you so much! Can you pls show me how to produce bar graph with confident interval bars?

Thank you so much. Let me ask you one question. 1. Here you have only one dependent variable, but how can we do if we have more than 2 or 3 dependent variables? 2. How can we test using Duncan or Tukey test in addition to LSD if there is significant variations? 3. How can we give subscription letters to those significant treatments or groups? and draw a box plot by providing subscription letters (like a, ab, c....) in a grouped box plot and adding SEM for each treatment? Thanks again.

could we just check the residuals for homogeneity instead of the individuals? something like plot(fitted(model),studres(model)) look for pattern, and then do qqnorm(resid(model)) qqline(resid(model)) ?
@rafaelbiondo2893 Жыл бұрын
when I'm gonna apply qqnorm and qqline for normal distribution analysis R returns this words: Error in (1 - h) * qs[i] : non-numeric argument to binary operator.

Hi. I need help. Which Anova test do I use for a dataset of 3 species of beetles? It would be great if you helped me out a little. Thank you.

Hi! Thanks for the video. I'd like to make a question. Why do you use the lm function to fit the data since the data already met the assumptions? Thanks :)
@RStatisticsandResearch5 жыл бұрын
the lm function is the actual one-way-ANOVA model, followed by anova(model), i.e. to test if the k populations are equal

Does R also calculate the area under de curve??

I tried to run your codes from my R-studio, but the following errors were faced as a problem. Error: unexpected symbol in "model1=1m." ### Testing Normal distribution for each group, no major outlines Treat1

where could I find the data???

Great. Thanks for sharing. its very easy to follow. I don't know why i am unable to do turkeyHSD test. Can someone tell if we need to install something to do the same.

But you can run an ANOVA? What's your error?

Great Video. I was following along with the data/script I downloaded from your website and everything was working fine until the "One Way Anova" section. My output /p-value is different than yours... Analysis of Variance Table Response: Length Df Sum Sq Mean Sq F value Pr(>F) Group 1 0.185 0.18514 0.22 0.6401 Residuals 103 86.697 0.84172 and the "Post-hoc test TukeyHSD" TukeyHSD(aov(model1)) returns the error "Error in TukeyHSD.aov(aov(model1)) : no factors in the fitted model In addition: Warning message: In replications(paste("~", xx), data = mf) : non-factors ignored: Group" Any ideas??
@RStatisticsandResearch5 жыл бұрын
Hi, if you run the script with the datafile provided, it should give the exact same output. Did you not forget to run a line? The "no factors" error may indicate that your groups have not been defined as factors. > dataoneway$Group
