Like in that 80's movie where there is a technical mistake or something I believe (like Wargames but a different movie) and missiles get launched against the Soviet Union. Next day earth's civilization is basically raped, gone. That's why neither parties, capitalist nor communist ever actually launched/started anything during the cold War. Both knew that would be terrible for all of humanity, there would be no winner at the end, both would lose. Like the AI in the movie Wargames calculated/concluded in the end. Think Nagasaki, Hiroshima; worldwide. So in that sense, if human civilization is gone, there is no party to start a war anymore anyway. So nuclear war would end all war, in a terrible sense.

Not sure if that was an actual OneJob at all. It could well be that they needed a cement foundation for something important (power pole?) even if they had to sacrifice one of the tracks. That could be on a rail yard with dozens of parallel tracks. Or maybe they just screwed up when issuing the order. That's why you check coordinates twice. In that case, it would be somebody else's OneJob.

1:13 I actually learned that airplanes have 3 layer windows, the middle one being the window that actually sustains the pressure difference. So it's only a problem if the second layer breaks and that guy wasn't actually in danger. I wouldn't travel in the airplanes of that company anymore though, because if they can't fix a window, what things could be hidden in the engines or electrics?

for those concerned, that airplane window is actually completely safe. airplane cabin windows have three panes, two on the outside to manage pressure and one on the inside (the loose one) that just protects the outer two and makes it fit into the cabin walls

@@olivercharles2930 You’re right. It does need to be repaired because the inner plastic protector guards the glass from incidental damage from passengers and such. However, it’s not such an immediate risk to have it loose like that.

1:18 That's perfectly fine... Well, it isn't obviously but it's still fine There's a double window for cases just like these. Once the plane lands it undergoes inspection and they will find it, after that they will fix it. This is one of the first things I learnt in aeronautical engineering. Fun fact: sometimes the windows fill up with water and the pilots complain about it but we can't do anything about it until it actually breaks or when it offsets the center of mass/load capacity.
