Unfortunately this is all big talk and nothing else. Ask the homebuyers of Godrej Golf Links villa project which is ready since early 2021 but still possession not given to customers due to OC delay from GNIDA authority. Around 100 odd customers have filed Rera complaint since last 1 year but everytime Godrej lawyer doesn’t file their response in a written statement and the presiding Rera officer cosily gives next date after 3-4 months. This fiasco has been going on since last 1 year almost.

There are unprecedented delays and inefficiencies in the hearing processes and the strategies used by bench judges to obstruct the hearings. The builder has been given undue extra time repeatedly for submitting written statement. The conduct of judges or bench members are doubtful and unfair. UpRERA and REAT are the additional obstacles put in between to stop home buyers to approach HC/SC for getting justice. There are huge cases pending before UpRERA but why ? Are home buyers are at fault or because of undue favour to builders by UpRERA ?

He is giving a rosy picture which is far from the truth. The way UPRERA is working is the exactly opposite of what he is saying. They are invariable favouring builders and treat then with kid glove. Kindly check the RERA hearings of Godrej Golf Links Greater Noida, in every hearing the builder representative/ lawyer either is not present or comes without preparation . The judge hardly pulls him up and immediately gives a fresh hearing date 3 months hence. It is happening to all the complainants. Their open nexus with builder is clearly visible. Nothing has changed after RERA, the same corrupt system is operating. That is the sad truth. The hapless home buyers will keep suffering
