The Mattaponi Indian Tribe is right near by, and many of they are branched off the Powhatan Tribes, and there’s also a few Pamunkey, Rappahannock, and a few others. My hair dresser is actually Powhatan and can trace her ancestry back to Pocahontas’s family. If you didn’t speak with her, you wouldn’t know. To me she looks more like Southern Italian. Some of my ancestry settled here back in the 1600s, so it’s also possibly we are distantly related-I haven’t done that far into my family that settled here back then, but I live like a mile from a property one of my ancestors used to farm. It’s just not that simple, and yes male and female brains DO have consistent structural differences. Studies concerning this stated the trans identified peoples brain scans more closely matched or were the same as the gender they identified with, not what they were assigned at birth. Hell, there’s a female singer/youtuber that has presented as female her entire life and identifies as such, but during the course of testing for some health issues she was having found out she was XY not XX. I forget her name, but she put out a video on it somewhat recently and it was interesting. It proves that just because you PRESENT as one your whole life, it doesn’t mean your chromosomes match. She had sent away a sample to one of the ancestry website, and they emailed her with something like “um, you say you are female, but the sample we got doesn’t seem to match. We think your sample was contaminated.” And she had to explain that it was indeed the correct sample and she is aware that her chromosomes do not match. Mine do, but I only know that because I went through Fragile-X testing. Most people never know what their chromosomes actually are.
