No one calls themselves Khmer or Han or anything. In fact, most Thai people preserve Mon-Khmer cultures better than Cambodian people today who came from Africa. Cambodian cultures today came from Thailand as a result of Cambodia being a vessel of Thailand for almost 400 years plus! Move on. You're welcome.
