KT were consultants in the choreography for the Japan Honor Band.

@@TheSledgehammer205 Not only the Green Band, Doesn't KT license their choreography to other bands in Japan? That is why other bands are catching up. They originated there Style. And other bands in Japan are following with their choreography.

Eugene Bigay. 1990 American Skaters I doubt it is licensed, they put a lot of work in their choreography to make it look spectacular. I doubt other bands commit as much into being able to play an instrument well *whilst* dancing, and many of the other bands subscribe to the rigid military style marching so to adopt a full routine like KT does may seem too obvious. The exception would be a younger band like Izumo Business High School which got permission to imitate their style. Izumo is seen as their "cousins", even adopting a similar outfit, but in pink instead. I don't think the Izumo girls perform in shorts and skirts though, as all vids I've seen of them do show them in trousers. KT girls have no qualms showing off their assets in the leg department.

Note - with the outbreak, the school will remain closed for March, no group practice, and many of the parades they go to have been cancelled/postponed.

Actually there were 14 Tachibana graduates in the band and they had a hand in training the conventional performers in the dance moves. The class that graduated in 2018 composed the largest group, They ncluded Chippi, Puchie, Milpy, Tara-cho, Ramirin, Co-ma-re, Kurara, Johnnybo There is an interview with seveen of the eight; Kurara/Hitomi arrived late for the interview but is in the group photo. kyototachibanashsbandunofficialfanblog.wordpress.com/2019/12/12/interview-of-114th-class-alumnae-ahead-of-their-appearance-at-the-2020-rose-parade/ There is mostly translated into English, but if you right click on the Japanese, you have an option to translate into Englsih.

Hi Plus, It's a Dance Style developed at Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School. They have a web page that goes into detail of the Band's history. Anyways, here are two " cut & paste " comments that I made above: ------ I like Tachibana Orange Fairies too.You are aware that fifteen members of the 114th Term of Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Band Brass Club participated in this Japan Honor Senior High School Green Band. Also, were included top players from other Japanese High Schools.
