UPDATE: Even when some beds might be working in ratholes in your single player session, no beds inside of ratholes are working on actual official pvp servers. I tested that a lot and the exact location that would be working in single player was not working anymore once i tested the same spot on official servers. Wildcard is incompetent. Their anti mesh system is incompetent. And thats what ultimately killed rathole base spots in ARK once and for all...

It would be a nice game but Wildcard just destroying it with anti-mesh and the cryo change

Hey rota the rathole ur mate found is the entrance method with a grapple? (you might be able to build up in to it but grapple crouch worked fine for me) if so can i show the spot to you to verify?

another issue ive seen with se is thylas cant jump if u jump with a thyla u just jump in place like ur hitting an invisible wall, and sometimes when climbing cliffs/pillars theres areas where you will be climbing on nothing and u will be standing on invisible rocks

Hey ROTA, there is 1 working method to spawn in a bed in a rathole. This IS exclusive to island as of now, but you can spawn on an underwater rathole that is close enough to a pearl cave

Scortched earth, more like mesh hole city. Like who play tested this map and said its complete. Red ob mountain on top is missing a rock mesh and you can just walk into the mountain. Curious what the center looked like for them to say nah not ready yet lol

I've quit ark but I wanted to check out SE lastnight. Obviously rush an argy and it's a level 1 that gets zero XP and glitches out anytime you ride it with any weight. Had a good laugh and logged out till the next map 😂

they got the biggest mesh protecion and my hard uw stil got meshed on smalls after months of progresss that went in there... they should start working on asa 2

The thing blocking the beds are looking for open view and the rest, like caves, are exceptions. There are rat holes that are obvious now, you'll have to find them yourself and you can make beds to spawn in, just read this message clearly and figure it out.

Theres no stegos and carbos on SE so basically free 2 months of playing till transfers open ;)

I actually found a few ratholes that allowed me to spawn in bunk beds (not simple beds though)

I would love to know which ones they are going to patch and ones they arent so i can figure out which one to put my time into if any ..... there is one decent one from ase but if some of these arent patched they could potentitally be better so i dont even know at this point.

I tested a lot too all bed spawns not working on official / smalls, even when tested on a single player official it works but when you go multi it won’t Gg wildcard

surely you just put TP in the rathole though and then its litro strongest base spot

Haven’t played ASA but do people find it “better” than ASE, as in ASA’s pros outweigh its cons? It looks like building in ASA is easier but also far more limited, whereas in ASE, building was so broken anything was possible with the right knowledge which I enjoyed a lot. I find the stance WC takes against ratholes so odd. I’d say they’re crucial for the game, of course they should be balanced like every other aspect but saying “there’s no place for them” ain’t it. 😅

WC is such a joke. They genuinely have no idea as to the metas of their own game to the point where every "improvement" is either nerfing something that wasn't broken or making something the community was begging to be nerfed even more broken. One of the biggest problems (aside from cheating) in my opinion on ASE was the fact that it was too hard for small tribes to compete with the megas and now they have completely eliminated this entire subculture of the game with their trash new anti-mesh. I would be fine with it if it actually stopped meshing but i guarantee you I could mesh nearly every cave on the island at least with next to no problem. It's so frustrating to me because the worst devs I have ever encountered have the best game concept and they're totally killing it with their incompetence. Either way love the vid R0ta, thank you for pointing out everything wrong with this game, keep up the awesome content.
