Dear Jay, Bryan, Daniel and Selena I saw R2L today at the Quad with my husband and a NY friend. We loved it. It's very well done and you all did a masterful job portraying your life. If you ever read The Economist you'll see that it believes things are about to turn in favour of marriage equality and it makes the point that real stories of real families like yours is a strong weapon in making people see what life is like for gay people. Enjoy your time in NYC.

You guys inspire me to what I should look forward to in my life... being ugly and gay and single and emotional and introverted (not to mention I don't have church which gives me a hard time, honestly) sometimes makes me think that I will forever be alone. However witnessing you all grow gives me a picture of how wonderful a life I can possibly have.

Am wondering if your documentary will be showing at the Southwest G&L Film Festival in Albuquerque, NM. It is scheduled to run from Sept. 28 - Oct 7. There is a website to go to submit it, however I'm not able to include it for some reason. I've been anxiously awaiting since it started showing.

I loved the new normal pilot, I think both adoption and surrogacy are good options for gay couples, I guess it all depends on what a couple wants. Children are a gift, I hope to both give birth and adopt children some day. Love you guys, keep up the good work, it would be cool if Maine got a screening of the movie.

There are so many things to see and do in New York city. Don't forget to go to central park , the empire state building, the LGBT center at 13st the west village. And don't forget to go Down town to see the 9/11 memorial and the new buildings that are under construction. I am a New Yorker and welcome to my wonderful city guys , and don't forget to make videos and let us know how's the trip, ENJOY

David, are you gay or a straight? I have been reading your and jay's back-and-forth and I don't understand why that guy who made the homophobic slur in your home was your friend in the first place. If he hates gays and hates gays raising kids, doesn't that mean he hates you. Why why, in the world, would you allow such a thing. I, being a straight woman, would respond right away, calmly, to anyone who made such a homophobic slur in my house. No way would I let them leave w/o saying anything. smh!

aww you guys are a very adorable family. it seems inevitable that a gay couple morphs into the super-gay duo that you guys are...I hope I manage to keep some masculinity because I don't want my son to have limp wrists just because that's all he sees at home. Do you not have anything better to do with your life than searching for gay related videos on youtube just to make nasty comments? what a shame!
