As a petrol head myself when you modify your car always keep a fire extinguisher in your car to avoid things like this....I'm glad that no one was hurt tho stay safe out there

I really appreciated the fact of giving the r32 owner at least something to look back on with being honest about him being barely out on you. Takes a real man to know when someone was ahead or however it can be phrased. People's egos are pretty bad at times when it comes to that occasionally.

Nooooooo Not the R32.... really sucks seeing it burn to the ground. Was such a beautiful Wookie. It was either a fuel line burst or oil. Either one of those will become a firebomb mid pull. Glad everyone is safe though. Cars can be replaced, lives cannot.

So stoked everyone survived this, gutted to see another R32 off the streets. Easily my favorite euro car in existence, has been since I first found my passion for cars. I can’t imagine how buddy is feeling, I really hope insurance is good to him and he builds another one! 🙏

I liked the video for all the other content around the R32, as for that clip of I am happy every one is okay and shit that thing was mint! And FAST! Mad love and respect you stopping to check in on them bro. Hated seeing a beautiful R32 go up in flames but like you mentioned Fire extinguisher would have been clutch! Especially when upgrading fuel components!

I enjoy your channel and the content you put up on here and i dont even own a VW anymore (owned a '95 GLX 5spd). Sad to see that R32 go out the way it did! Sucks too cuz my buddies R32 was just stolen here in colorado a few weeks ago and his was low mileage and in mint condition! I also have a mkvi R32 around me thats fast as balls! I think he's turbo from the sound of it and the flames that shoot out when his auto trans shifts, that car is nuts!

I’ve always had one. My mk1 16v with bbm fuel rail. Those little o rings always leak overtime, and if ya don’t catch it. The fire extinguisher is your best friend. 😂

Welp, one less R2 in the world....which in itself blows but glad everyone was safe. Blown turbo or oil line coming loose perhaps? Once you go above 3-4x the HP the car was designed for, agree with you, fire extinguisher mandatory.

Time rebuilt and restore the R32. Sheet metal didn't look too bad. Hope he carries a fire extinguisher next time. Best safety item to have in a modded car

I carry 3 fire extinguishers in my car, i have seen to many builds burn down and either the owners don't have an extinguisher or the one extinguisher they do have is faulty in some way. you can never be to safe, i have put to many thousands of dollars into my car to just not have 3 🤣

If you’re asking if he has ever upgraded the clutch the answer is yes, you can’t up the torque on these cars very much without roasting the OEM clutch
