Not a stock 12v VR6...it has the 3.6l VR6 engine inside(dont know the state of tune) but its more than capable of holding its own until it cant. Also the RS3 is tagging...not racing at all....we all know the RS3 5 pot is no joke

@@Biggswangin this one is a 3.6 liter 24 valve...engine found in some Porches,VW Passat and VW CC...dont think any other car came with that engine here in SA. As you see the DSG doing its thing the moment the Jetta comes into its powerband its over...KW for KW in the MK3 body(not that its about KWs) but there is no way the 7R stock is gonna keep up especially at the coast. This jetta is not even tuned optimally yet.

VR6 is a 6 cylinder staggered while GTI is 4 cylinders, and the pass is heroic at 200Km/h and still going... thats a beast

Cap a R32 or R36 doesn't matter if it's swapped would never slap a Golf 7R , for starters 7R is awd when it catches traction it sends most power to the front it's lighter it's more efficient putting power down , VR6 are slow cars it needs forced induction to be classed as fast

You too excited while being misinformed...the 3.6L VR6 in a much lighter MK3 shell VS a stock 7R is as you expect to see in this video...the 3.6 Liter VR6 engines depending n the state of Tune out powers the 7R motors in stock form....your theory about AWD is irrelevant, as this is an already rolling race and AWD is not a factor....you are welcome to google the 3.6 L VR6 engine which came in the VW passat,VW CC and some Porsches here in South Africa...its not a tractor engine those motors anywhere from 206kw to 240kw(stock depending on engine code/state of tune for fuel quality per region of export)....then its at the coast where NA engines are known to hold it own if not out perform FI engined cars of similair performance. For example this is factual a Golf 5 R32 and e36 M3s in JHB struggled to perform against a standard Golf 6 GTi but in in Cape Town its the complete opposite and its no competition really. Sometimes we respond to things based on how we fell,how we think it should be and without knowledge ,understanding or experience in the subject matter often even overlooking obvious evidence. Hope this helps you when watching videos that you sure of is "Cap"

@@chadkennedy8675 you confirming what I already said...Power to weight...I dont know what state of tune your conversion is especially with what you say it having a 7R gearbox in(dont know how that works as the VR6 engine design especially for the Box is different to the 4pot)...your brothers car has a tune and thats between you and him....my reply before specifically reffered to the video in question with regards to the 3.6 liter being in a Mk3 and the the 7R being stock...the MK3 shell is lighter!
