I kind of disagree actually. I really like these songs because they're different. Having western style songs just reinforces the idea that kpop is 'generic pop' when it's a lot more than that. Most might dislike it but there's going to be a few who do appreciate it and I think it's kind of wonderful to reach out to those people rather than try to mass appeal kpop all the time. Edit: Also Fever imo is very 'American'

@@swetha.9108 yeah but I'm thinking mk ng about it more from a performance point of view it's not about thinking it's generic pop it's just if I'm being introduced to something I don't want it to be relaxed and slow paced that just represents that it's all relaxed and slow paced or that's the impression it gives I also might like it less if it's really unfamiliar like I said I love kpop and I love the songs they danced to but they aren't the best when you are just performing a dance and nothing else you know what I mean but I also get your point to

@lei yeah a full performance of singing and dancing not just the one and yeah that's my opinion but it's also yours that you disagree there were a lot of people who agreed with what I said and there are a lot of people in the stands who weren't into it they are great performance songs if you already like kpop and appreciate it but there aren't a lot of people who are willing to step out of their comfort zone and try something new like that they didn't really perform for you they performed for their school so they should try to entertain their school just like any other artist would and even if they don't no one gonna be mad I just feel like they'll get a lot more appreciation than they do now because it kills me to see such a dead crowd when something so great is being shown right before them and all of that just because they weren't into the musical selection that's a real shame isn't it
