Thanks for video. Couole of questions did your car come with the ashtray/coin holder that's sitting in drinks holder? Did it come with the cable for connecting the phone?

Mine came with both, but the ashtray/cigarette lighter was an optional extra that the dealership threw in... I'm not a smoker, but wanted the holder for coins 😄

I've installed mine a few days ago, huge dissapointment, at least on iPhone I could use Spotify and see WhatsApp, Android one is just for navigation, nothing else...

Once it is connected can you run Android auto without the cable? Like you I have the B9 with the inductive charging plate and I don't want to have to connect and disconnect cables each time I come in or out of the car? Thanks in advance

Mark Bennett at the moment you can’t do that, you will need to plug it in if you want to use android auto, but hopefully they should be able to do wireless connection to the car for android auto and Apple car play

+mrmrmrmrmr shebz you need to go to media on your Audi, then left click and it will show you options like Bluetooth audio, Memory Card, USB and other ones, you choose the usb and it will load up what you have

Good video, but the Audi system to connect phone with car is the stupidest think ever. I have an A5 and a pathfinder... my suv you just sync the bluetooth with the car and done.
