Hi. Yes, if you have damaged the ABS ring then you will need to replace the wheel bearing as the ring is part of it.

Nothing in the hole but just remember that the ABS ring in the other side. You shouldn't damage it.

Yes. The bearing has an ABS ring that the lead picks up a signal from, and it goes faulty.

@@tonyrepairs5558 I’ve got similar and irritatingly my code reader won’t pick up the ABS system so don’t know which wheel but I have amber tpms and abs. Have four sensors so tempted to replace them all. What are the chances I do that and it’s not the sensors but one of the rings? Losing the will to carry on with this car, just changed the clutch which was a pig of a job

@Iain Hay well to be honest the only way to tell if its the ring is to use an bit of magnetic film that you put on the bearing where the ABS ring is and look for broken segments. Not easy. I would change the front left first then the rear left as they seam to be the most common when I've had issues, not to say others will disagree haha. The other option is to ask someone to do a diagnostic read for you so you have the wheel that's bad. I've done so many gearboxes and clutches now on my back on my own. Not the best job.
