This is unnecessary controversy. Nandi is a symbol of energy and Perumal will not feel upset. Vaishnavas should not get angry that Nandi carries Lord Shiva since Shiva and Narayana are both same.

Sengol issue is unnecessary. National emblem is actually a buddhist symbol, everyone accepted that. Even Tamilnadu emblem is vaishnavaite symbol(srivilliputhur gopuram) everyone accepted that. That nandi sengol is the first sengol of Independent india and was given to jawaharlal nehru even before lion capital was adopted as national emblem and also even before Tamilnadu adopted srivilliputhur gopuram as state emblem. How can we change it now?

Who is a Saivite?,, RN only brought to Notice of the removal of Parvathy Idol in Kapaleeswara Temple. He stopped the sale of Temple Land of Veeracholapuram Siva Temple. He participated in Sivarathri celebrations of desecrated Veeracholapuram Temple. Like these there are many instances where he fights for Temples Survival. @@AlarmelMangai-ie2tg The Madras University has MA Vaishnavism course. In this syllabus about Azhwars, the period of Azhwars are given between 500 ACE to 700 ACE I e about 1500 to 1300 years ago. Our Acharya purushas are claiming some of the Azhwars lived in Dwaparayugam.and a lot more lived BCE. THE irony is that the same Acharyas who are contesting Dushyanth are teaching in the University the syllabus/period given by the University and not what poorva Acharyas said. Why Rangarajan has not questioned it ? He should have asked all the adyapaks in Vaishnavism Dept to resign and come out ? Will you ask your Acharyan Rangarajan and post clarification ?
