Nice job getting the point across that the receiver can take a beating! If you do more of these in the future, comparing the receiver to another one (RA Tech vs. Stock?) would help.

Firstly, great demonstration video guy's.I think that you pretty much showed the strength of the RaTech receivers, and going by the date of your test I'm assuming that it was the 6061-T6 version and not the 7075-T6.I think without opening a can of worms regarding build spec and realism, these have to be one of if not the best built AR platforms for Milsim airsoft.I would also like to think that the 7075-T6 would probably fair even better in your test.Given that the wall thickness around the fcg is thinner than a real lower, and that the area where the outer barrel, hop and barrel extension is screwed to the upper is also weakened by slots cut into it, showed just how much abuse these can take by someone during game time without the fear of breaking their pride and joy, as happened to me many years ago to my then, top of the range Systema, cracked its lower after an altercation with a tree during a capture the flag game :(I hope that RaTech keep up their hard work, listen carefully to owners or future owners and keep the world of airsoft alive.Keep the video's coming and above all enjoy our sport.

Man, beat the tar out of it and it comes back for more. I saw an AEG M4 standing on its stock slide off a trailer onto a gravel lot and snap in half. You dropped a block on it, and bent it back into useable shape. Pretty. Frickin'. Amazeballz! I liked RATechs drops from the drones...but this was pretty damned unbelievable! THUMPS...OVER!

Bending that upper back into shape without heating it or it cracking is amazing. Now, price point for this receiver set is a good one now, seeing what it can go thu. Fuckin legit.

Maximus, what version mag did you use? My gen1 ones don't fit. Too long for the mag well length. Ratech said I should use gen2 mags but another viewer Kote1979 said neither of his gen1 or gen2 fit? thanks.

Stay away from the forged reciever, you cant even fit the charhing handle and bolt together in the reciever. I jave payed more than € 250 for this thing and I cant even use it other than as a paperweight.

I understand what you were trying to do but all I could do was shake my head. A more extreme test of what actually happens in the field would have been better. That gun deserved it. Submerge it in muddy water. Leave it for couple hours. Spear chuck into the ground. Run over it on hardpan with a truck. The baseballs were close. That test was like smacking it into a tree. Hell spill coke on it and let it dry and see if it functions. I don't know how many numbnuts I've seen spill coke on a Real Steel at the range then wonder why after lunch the gun fails to extract or stove pipes. You had a great idea...just needs a tweekin ;-) Keep it up remember you only have 1*
