In Gujarat’s Veraval city lies a heavenly abode of Lord Shiva in the form of the Somnath jyotirling, which is one of the 12 holy jyotirlings dedicated to the deity. Considered as the oldest temple in the world, the Somnath Jyotirling has seen it all. The glory, the miracles, the faith, the riots and the painful and ghastly destruction.
Join us as we take you on a journey of this magnificent temple’s history that was painted red by some of the most inhuman attacks known to mankind. The attacks shook the nation to its core, but weren’t able to end the glory of this incredible temple nor kill the spirit of the devotees who worshipped here.
