Our music, a part of Indian Culture has truly mature, far advanced and pride rendering. Every singer has done a tremendous justice to the Raagas they had been requested to. Thank all the singers. In thirties the Raag Charukeshi, was very well handled in films by the trios Papanasam Sivan , G.Ramanatha iyer, M. K.Thyagaraja Bhagavathar.The best example is Papanasam Sivan composed a song in film "Haridas". tuned by G.Ramanatha iyer and remarkably sung by M.K.Thyagaraja Bhagavathar.The song is " Manmatha leelyai vendraor uendo" This song was very.popular in thirties.

I remember one very beautiful composition of Laxmikant & Pyarelal from film Milan and sung by Lata ji - Aaj Dil pe koi daur chalta nahi, Muskurane lagethe magar ro pade. Thanks for uploading this wonderful program and special thanks to Savani ji and Mukund. I remember having enjoyed Mukund in sa re ga ma pa the first program of Zee TV.

Extremely good. Salutations. Sawane ji has beautifully distinguished this raag from its carnatic version. She is extraordinary in clarity to help us follow the sublime raag swaroopa to its minuteness. How I wish I took birth in the more musical North in respect of gifted talents like that in Sawane who abound in good number and make the atmosphere of Bharath highly Philharmonic.

Carnatic Raga Charukeshi , is very well used in that Son, which I never New. If anyone wants to Listen the Original Charukeshi of Carnatic MUsic YOu may search " Shilaye Kai KOndu Sivaroopa", a light rendition.

Charukeshi is a creation of Tyagaraja when he found a gap possibility in the Venkatamakhi’s scale of Melakarta system in Carnatic music

thyagaraja followed pandit govindacharya's sampurna mela whereas venkatamukhi's asampurna mela given in the kanakamari list was followed by sree Muthuswamy Dikshitar .In all probabilities Thyagaraja would not have probably heard of VENKATAMUKHI

Both Thyagaraja and Muthuswamy Dikshitar are excellent exponents of the Carnatic Music. Both are in all probability were ardent devotees of God, Who is One. Ekam Vipra Bahudhavadanti. Why we are still not surrendering to that Oneness. Ramana Maharishi said there are no others. Let us enjoy Music which is divine. 🙏🙏🙏🙏😊😊😊😊

This is a wonderful series and each of the videos is a treasure. I hope you will take a look at videos by Prince Rama Varma who would be a perfect candidate to introduce South Indian classical music to Hindustani listeners. If you search for Prince Rama Varma, you can find his videos on youtube and he speaks Hindi too.

I love this prog. But in this episode tanpura is teasing. Also, Mukund ji, I like your singing. You missed "bedardi balma tujhko film Arzoo and Bekhudi main sanam film amne samne " based in same raag Charukeshi. Regards from Pakistan.

You must be having a great musical ear. Ordinary listener, like me, does not find anything wrong with the Tanpura. But experts are experts and their listening range is very high. I remember one program by Pandit Ravishankar, where he took nearly one hour to tune his Sitar and did not start playing till he was satisfied. He had just returned from Shri Lanka and may the climate difference had affected is Sitar
